I judge folks who think Nevermind is better than In Utero. Nevermind starts strong but there's some duds in the middle of that album. In Utero is pretty much spotless.

Nevermind > in utero. Think it's the other way around. In fact, the final version of in utero wasn't even the original because the label rejected it.

I mean better is subjective, I think most just find Nevermind so damn catchy...The first 8 tracks on that bish are :banderas:

I tend to judge the clowns who be on that "Cobain was overrated, couldn't play guitar" dikkheads...

Breh wrote a song that changed the landscape of popular music at that time, wrote songs that were both ridiculous and had no sense, but had meaning at the sametime, knocked Michael Jackson from the number 1 spot.

Of course, because there wasn't a hit like Teen Spirit or In Bloom or Come as You are on there. It's also a lot less polished than Nevermind and a lot of it is Kurt rebelling against his own success.

kurt cobain was a confusing dude where he didn't know what he wanted or who he was. he wanted to be successful but when he became successful, he didn't want to be successful. i admired him though because he didn't give a fukk and he was ahead of his time. he wasn't the first in the mainstream to do it obviously BUT he, krist and dave were doing that whole gender nonconformity, cross dressing, lgbt , femininity shyt. they did that shyt in utero album cover and elsewhere.

i personally think that aside from the mental illness and drug issues, his sexuality and his gender identity may have had to do with his suicide. despite him doing all that, i think he was trying to say something but was too scared to. if dude had lived, i'm quite sure he would be apart of the gender identity, lgbt shyt now that it's a bit more acceptable and people are more open about it.

Where The Grass Is Blue
Can some of the oldheads clarify if nikkas was actually into Nirvana when they still existed and Kurt was alive and shyt?

Did nikkas fukk with it or was it just seen as another white boy rock band ?
I remember a few young nikkas that were MTV heads that fukked with them but none of the older nikkas was fukking with them

Heart Shaped Box was a hit, and it seems like a pretty well known song even among 20 year olds (who are into rock)

In Utero is a great album from cover to cover. It's get a little too noise rocky towards the end but is definitely an album I can listen cover to cover.

My favorite tracks: Serve the Servants, Scentless Apprentice, Rape Me, Dumb, Milk It, Pennyroyal Tea
