So, what's next for Nakamura? IC title again? :francis:
AJ styles at WK10 but that's a long way off:patrice:

I figure Shibata and Naito are gonna be busy with each other for the foreseeable future. Ibushi will probably be tied up with Makabe. I'd imagine Goto and Nagata are gonna have a match.....I have no idea what's in store for Shinsuke. Tama Tonga? :patrice: Elgin? :patrice:

I figured Tanahashi would win but I was holding out hope for Nakamura(my pick before the tourney, winning over Styles)

If you had the power what would you book?:jbhmm:

I've been complaining for a while about the title scene. But if I had to rebook the year leading up to WK 10...

-Okada beats Tanahashi in January at the Dome in WK 9.

-Okada defends against AJ in February. Cuts a promo about being the best ever, Nakamura gives him the :dahell:

-Nakamura enters the New Japan Cup and wins it, beating Ibushi again, in the Finals. In the tournament, AJ Styles hits a Styles Clash on the floor on Tanahashi on the first round, winning that match by count out and leaving Tanahashi on the shelf for a while

-Okada defends against Nakamura and barely beats him at Invasion Attack. They embrace but Nakamura gives him the  if we see each other again. Okada says that if he can beat the IC Champ then he sure as hell can beat the NEVER champ. On the undercard, Tanahashi says he'll be back for Dontaku, but he needs partners to face the Bullet Club. Nagata and Ibushi offer their help

-At Dontaku, Goto beats Nakamura for the IC Belt. In a complete shocker, Ishii beats Okada. Who vows to get his title back at the next show, or he'll shave his head/leave New Japan. On the undercard, Ibushi steals the show but can't avoid the L against the Bullet Club, who fukking destroy Nagata and leave him on the shelf after another Styles Clash on the floor.

-Okada regains the title after a war against Ishii that leaves him as the clear and undisputed winner, they embrace and show a united front for CHAOS...except Nakamura. Ibushi/Tana lose a Tag Title match against he Bullet Club after AJ interferes when Ibushi had the match won. AJ goes to injure Tanahashi like he did before. But fukking Shibata comes to the rescue and gives the  to the BC.

- At the G1 you got a shyt ton of storylines to play with. The most important being Nakamura wanting to prove Okada he's better than him, Ibushi breaking out and BC vs Tanahashi. Finals of the G1 are Nakamura vs Ibushi...Ibushi finally wins, Nakamura cries and Okada - who doesn't get pinned in the whole tourney, just draws and countout losses for him - comes out to make fun of him.

- September big show doesn't have an IWGP title match. The main event is a Captain Falls match between the Bullet Club and Team Tanahashi/Ibushi/Shibata/Nagata (they get the W, either Ibushi or Shibata can be the last survivor,Tanahashi gets beaten by AJ Styles in the penultimate fall). Okada is in a tag team match with Ishii against Nakamura and Goto. Nakamura gets the win after making Okada tap out and almost breaking his arm. A pissed Nakamura challenges Okada for King Of Pro Wrestling.

-Nakamura wins the damn belt. Ibushi keeps his title shot at the Dome by beating heel Naito. Bullet Club beat Team Tanahashi/Shibata/Nagata/Sakuraba in a rematch, AJ gets the win for his team.

-Nakamura defends against AJ. Ibushi keeps his title shot against Okada, now he is the one that ends up crying, and vows to return to title contention and demonstrate he's the best in New Japan. Tanahashi and Shibata win the Tag Titles from the Bullet Club, they announce they will defend the belt in every match they have at the G-1 Tag League.

-On the penultimate day of the Tag League, Tanahashi and Shibata (undefeated at that point) win their match by DQ against the BC team, AJ interferes and injures Tanahashi. On the final day Tana shows up but is too banged up and eats the pin against *insert New Team* and loses the belts.

-WK 10. Ibushi beats Nakamura for the title. AJ faces Tanahashi, doesn't matter who wins it's a big fukking match. Okada wins the IC Title, with the idea of building up for a Title vs Title match against the IWGP champ to show "who is the best" at Invasion Attack. Shibata can win his match and form his own stable with a returning Yoshi Tatsu, they  the Bullet Club. Heel Naito gets the Never Title.

shyt, that was waaaay longer that I intended it to be :damn: But my main goal was giving Ibushi the rub at WK avenging his loss to Nakamura from WK 9 and giving every other dude either fresh matchups or interesting angles.

I made it through the whole day without getting any matches spoiled. :blessed:

Anyways, Shibata was going ham on Naito, looking :demonic:. Ibushi like always was intense af and I guess is feuding with Makabe.

Surprised ReDragon won, not bad.

Aj pinned Okada :whoo: guessing they have a title match soon.

Ricochet vs kushida was entertaining, they're 1-1 against each other I think.

Tanahashi vs nakamura, they spammed the fukk out of those finishers and kick outs :wtf::wtf:
Good match but that ending :camby:

Tana vs okada at wk 10 again :mindblown:

:pacspit: Tanahashi

Overall entertaining final and overall tourney :obama:

They should give Shibata the title and have him form a stable to freshin things up but that will never happen because of his heat apparently. Okada vs Tanahashi is the new Cena vs Orton at this point.

I watched the main event earlier, came in the tread to post shyt from other matches I found interesting and got it spoiled :francis:

anyway, not a fan of Tanahashi..... for obvious reasons. :scust:

No selling, blatant and basic move telegraphing (did you notice him slapping his chest to get the loud slap sound effect when they were both on the top rope? No? How could you not!? :martin:), just.... just not my cup of tea :pacspit:
