Basically, most of the popular kids In my school got good grades. I'm tired of folks saying this shiit. Matter of fact in most hoods, everyone kinda knows to not mess with those kids who are really doing their thing. Who are these people that they interview for these studies.


Seriously, this shiit annoys me, I work in a restaurant. And a bunch of University kids work there, not once I have heard them say such things, that the article implies

It was like this in all the hoods around my way....There were a lot of cool smart black kids, and some were just flat out nerdy but were really good people from genuine families.,....In any event, wasn't nobody outside the hood fukking with any of em, simply because they belonged to us and they had legit shots of making something out of themselves and O.G.s respect that shyt....

This whole picking on black kids because there are smart are stating that the black community is anti academia must have started after 2005.....cause it damn sure wasn't like that in the 80s and 90s.......

Outreaching to young black men about gun violence, education, finance, sex education, etc. all kind of stuff.

nah, i dont do that, i have conversations and exchange of ideas with black people, but i dont outreach to black people becuase black people do not need any "outreaching"

i dont know what "black isolationist rhetoric" is but if it rejects "outreaching" they are good in my book
