No amount of budgeting and not eating out is going to make up for the fact that we don't make enough money.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Elaborate for the brehs
One of my clients spent $1,000 a month on Uber eats. Uber eats and these apps have actually made eating out even more draining.

I had another client who would buy 3 meals a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner and she bought these meals with no care so if her red lobster lunch cost $45 she was swiping her credit card

When you dedicate your time to grocery shopping and preparing your meals nonense like this is avoidable

Now add to the fact she does this on weekends too and she celebrate birthdays parties and brunch which is another food debt

Sounds good, but I've seen your previous threads decrying your mental health struggles. You wouldn't last six months before you broke.
My mental health? Like years ago? lol.

I have a therapist and I read a lot and I prioritize exercise to keep my mental straight. I do not smoke and I barely drink anymore unless it’s a special occasion because I know my mental health is the priority.

I have always worked multiple jobs up until I was 25 which is well documented on this website and on the previous website (sohh and projectcovo). Are used to work at McDonald’s as a college graduate in people at my full-time job would feel sorry for me and think I was poor but I was really didn’t want to save extra money because I had goals.

Yup ..ppl got too much pride and ego

U do that for 9months you can save a nice chunk
Exactly!!!

Just sacrifice 6 months to a year and grind hard as fukk.

I’m Sacrifice and the rest of the year safe for one trip in October. Otherwise I’ll be doing free stuff. Hiking biking walking beach etc.

I want to save like 30K by the end of the year.

I have to sacrifice. I already turned down a trip to Las Vegas in September and I could have been in Chicago this weekend but I had to pass on it because I’m trying to save money.

Well it’s not going to be forever is literally temporary until you can pull yourself out of debt.

I’ve done it before and I sacrificed until I could love the way I wanted :manny:

This was all in my early to mid 20s though.
True I hope you’re not stuck in that forever breh. The times do cal for it unfortunately. Get it while you can and get out when you can

:salute:

As of now there’s really no substantial difference in price between eating out and buying groceries.

Both are at unlivable costs

What are you eating?

I had a can of clam chowder soup to which I added mushrooms and diced yellow pepper.

I think that was about $3 worth

I’m speaking from a short term get out of debt/save up money plan. Not forever.

I've worked two jobs for about a year to get my shyt together years ago. It works. The problem is a lot of people don't know or have a long term plan for their life. So when you suggest working two jobs, they immediately think its permanent when it's not.

It's about making the most with what you have
Budgeting and cutting back expenses is literally the solution to allocating money towards necessities
People don't want to come to grips with that. Once upon a time I was able to save $25K while making less than $40k (in a couple of years). It's math, what you do with it is up to you :yeshrug:
