Yeah i can do recipes but i aint tried making like homemade chinese food or lasagna from scratch. Things my mother can do like its nothing..easy and it comes out wonderful every time. Wild.

Yep. My mother and grandmother taught me how to cook and as a kid I enjoyed cooking shows on PBS like Yan Can Cook, Justin Wilson Great Chefs, etc.

I made some Jambalaya a couple of weeks ago (from scratch, not that box bullshyt) that had the house quiet.

I can cook Creole food, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Filipino, Mexican, Japanese, American and Soul Food.

Those older folks don’t need recipes at this point - even with baking - and it comes out perfect.

I worked in kitchens from HS till just after college. Started cooking freshman year of college, so I know my way around a kitchen and I can cook. When I met wifey she was trash in the kitchen but is now a GOAT tier cook. She taught herself and just got better and better as time went on. One thing I can't complain about is the quality of homemade meals.

I cook way better than my mother and grandmother. I cook no where near as good as my grandfather. My wife cooks better than I do, but not better than my grandfather. My daughter cooks better than all of us.
