I've made my own 2 cookbooks

1 for regular meals and crockpot meals

1 for Desserts

I'm always playing around and tweaking my recipes to try and make them better... I've got about 20 cookie recipes and cheesecake flavors

To keep cookies softer longer, use pudding mix with your dough

Always working on creating copycat recipes from other places!

Not on the same level as my parents/grandparents but more than the average person , plus I can follow recipes pretty easily.

I can cook my ass off no BS, just as good as both my parents. I'm always shocked at how many people are surprised at that tbh. The bar is set so low for nikkas man, it's a shame.

I can cook, and I cook better than my mom because my mom can’t cook. I have never in my life requested, or wanted my mom’s home cooking.
Wow..i cant imagine what my life would of been like without my mother's cooking. I took it for granted. I WISH i had 1/4 of her cooking ability.

I had home cooked meals growing up, they just weren’t that good. We ate a lot at my grandmother’s house, because she picked us up from school for a few years, and we stayed there until my mom got off work. Her cooking wasn’t bad, but there wasn’t much variety. But when my mom would cook, it was the most salty, overcooked food I’ve ever eaten.
Wow

I don't really fukk with fish, haven't ate fish in shyt... 6-7 years... just really didn't like the taste :manny:

Smoker is coming next year and then doing a lot more smoked meats... pulled pork, brisket, etc...

But I know my way around the kitchen and how to season shyt.... Doing a whole kitchen remodel next year and adding more countertop space to further utilize the space I have available...

I just enjoy cooking and baking altogether... it's a stress relief for me. I win our baking competitions at work all the time with some simple yet delicious dishes... last time was Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars, time before I did a pineapple upside down cheesecake... I think my favorite crockpot dish is my Chicken Tortilla Soup... not as thick as Chic-fil-A... but pretty fukking flavorful!

I can literally cook anything, it’s really up to my imagination and if I have the time. My parents(both mother and father) only tend to cook Jamaican food.

Yes. Live in NYC. About a year and a half ago I took stock of how much money I was wasting on delivery and decided to start trying to cook. I knew how to cook some but I’d go through cycles of cooking for a couple of weeks then going back to ordering delivery.

I quickly became obsessed. Bought a lot of cooking equipment and self taught. Not only am I saving about $600 a month, I’m eating healthier as well as have developed great cooking skills for a variety of cuisines. Now I rarely order delivery and when I do it’s usually when I have friends over to watch games or something. My girl also cooks so it’s worked out great.
