No shyt, really?

Exactly.
You don't trade away a certainty for an uncertainty.
why pay revis 13-15 mill per season ?Revis is prob the best jet of all time
Trade him away and expect the young kid you drafted to be half of what he was brehs
Because you would still have a lot of cap room with Revis on the rosterwhy pay revis 13-15 mill per season ?
next season jets ave 45 mill in cap room
Revis of course. Shoot...they know each other since playing in Pitt. He scored on Revis years back when they faced the CArdinals and REvis had a pick six. They always go at it like that. All yall bickering about Revis.
Someone tell me, what's the Bucs record.
When Fitzgerald tied that game yesterday who was covering him.

There are other CB's in the league playing at a high level. Hell, the guy on the Titans yesterday. Patrick Peterson scores when the ball is in his hands.
Revis job is to lock down the best receiver in man coverage. I'm sorry, 16 mill for that....I'd rather get more players and roll out a B, B+ type of CB. If Revis was making picks and creating points, he'd have more value.

Why can't Rex /Idzik find a B, B+ type of CB anywhere other than round 1 of a draft?
which corners have they even drafted past that round? Idzik's drafted one CB so far.
Cromartie's been really good as a Jet and was a 2nd round pick for us(trade)
Cro's a first round pick in his own right that we spent a 2nd on.
The point is, if your idea is to get a CB that's a B, B+ corner, even the Jets think you're full of shyt and they proved it by drafting a CB in the top 10. If their hope is that Milliner turns into that, they fukked up, because you don't need to burn a top 10 pick to get that. If Milliner can't be on the level of other elite CB's taken later, let alone the top 10, then he didn't live up, and that's a big concern people have regarding Dee.
"the guy on the Titans yesterday" was a 4th rounder. The reason why you won't see the Jets do this is because Rex can't develop them unless they're already built to be potentially elite. Hell, as much as we like Sheldon Richardson, all that pick showed was that they couldn't turn Kenrick Ellis into a starter after talking him up for 2 years. If Ellis was as good as Rex thought he could be, Idzik wouldn't have wasted time trying to pick Richardson.
So basically you want Rex fired is what it sounds like. It's probably going to happen anyways.
Your vision that the NFL is full of superstars that were late picks is off though. The best teams draft the BPA on their draft board. That's what Idzik did.
No, but that's my biggest knock on Rex. Some of these guys doing a good job aren't necessarily stars, but they became that. If nothing else, they're useful. Rex is too shook to develop them in the hopes that they can be that, which is odd given the pride he takes on his defense. Think about it. Rex has been here for 5 years and the closest thing he has to developing and molding a "project" is Demario Davis in early round 3. Great defensive minds are capable of being able to find them anywhere. This team historically doesn't care to seek them outside of the first 3 rounds. What's the last successful UDFA this team has been able to produce in general? Wayne Chrebet 18 years ago?
They don't have to be superstars. They can be the B, B+ type of corners like you want them to be, but Idzik already disagrees with that since he definitely didn't draft Milliner to be a B, B+ type of corner.
