At the beginning of mean streets
In before people say, they shouldn't have committed crimes in the first place.

A lot of them are there because they couldn't afford a decent attorney. And there is a basic level of humanity that isn't being provided.
Many of them haven’t even been convicted.

NYC and FBA Riverboat Retaliation
I’m sure the apartment he used to live in had all he is missing now.

He needs to rip up his sheets and hang himself already

Y'all do realize all the men in Brooklyn MDC are pretrial, meaning they haven't even been convicted of a crime yet or they are waiting for bail hearings/court dates. Never heard of Kalief Browder?? You Fukkin unsympathetic idiots. You don't know their situation or circumstances and they could be locked based on false accusations. It's not just Tax that's in lockup.

They've been without heat since Jan 21. No, they don't deserve to be treated like animals or suffer deprived of their rights to basic humane conditions during a polar vortex. They're already deprived of their freedom, what more do you want. Sound like fukkin Klan members with those baseless comments.

It’s a federal prison the mayor cant do anything when the dept of prisons refuses to accept the city’s donation. I’m surprised ppl like Karen civil don’t understand something so simple

there can be a lawsuit. if it comes down to a liabilities, refusing to accept a donation that would bring the facilities to humane levels seems like a huge goof

BOP: Federal Inmates
Our inmate population consists of people awaiting trial for violating federal laws or those who have already been convicted of committing a federal crime. Due to a law passed in 1997, we also confine offenders who have been convicted of a felony in the District of Columbia. Under certain agreements and special circumstances, we may also house state inmates.

looks likethis place takes all kinds of people

It's punishment if they actually did this on purpose. The facility has nothing to gain by subjecting their COs and the civil staff to the same exact conditions.

People in the projects have been living in moldy apartments for years and many were also subjected to having to live in cold apartments during the cold streak.

You can’t be that naive. There’s people that pay rent that live in the same conditions and you think that criminals could win a case like this

lolsmh. weird comparison. people on their own have free will to do whatever they want. but under the law there is something that is called duty of care and it applies to anybody you have under certain "custody" like kids, students, prisoners, etc. you cant just not feed somebody you have under your control and custody.

oh well, tough luck. Prison is suppose to be a place to help deter certain behaviors so it shouldn't be comfortable

I never understood how do you contribute to and complain about your plight? The carefree promoting/normalizing of degenerate behavior proves that too many folks are enablers, sympathetic and tolerant of it, while claiming to be victims

....imagine complaining about human conditions while not willing to save human life over an animal
Who would you save- your pet or a stranger?

How is Tax in the feds in Brooklyn?

I thought when thye sent you to the feds that they would place you in an area far from home on purpose.

Kenneth Montgomery must be a SUPER attorney.

I thought Tax was in Leavenworth or some shyt
