Unless, you have been hiding under a rock, you would know that Big Sean released his most impressive work to date, Hall of Fame this Tuesday. However, the most talked about news was Sean’s unreleased song “Control” that featured Compton Native, Kendrick Lamar. Lamar infamously stated that he is the “King of New York.”

However, the producer of the record No I.D. stated that the beat for “Control” was meant for Jay Z. No I.D. suggested to Big Sean, after he heard the beat that Sean should take the beat in order to incorporate more Hip-Hop into his album in order to steer away from mainstream rap music that dominated the radio. Although, “Control” did not make the final cut for the release of Hall of Fame, the record has shaken up the Hip-Hop world and even resulted in responses from Russell Simmons and Sean himself.
