Wow you are beyond DUMB. Kobe had GP and Karl? Yea when they were fukking fossils. Malone was 40 and missed most of the Finals. :what:

Duncan has had: Tony Parker and Manu. Two first ballot HOFs for pretty much his entire career and shooters. Kobe had a one year rental in Dwight who was injured and Jodie fukking Meeks as his best shooter. :dwillhuh:

tony parker and manu are not superstars
and making the hall of fame doesn't make you a superstar

neither of them have even made all nba before
manu been on like 2 allstar teams
they've gotten better over the years but let's not rewrite history

Failed to repeat. Failed to win the west back to back years. Blew a 2-0 lead twice. Lost to an 8 seed as a 1 seed. From 2008-2012 he was :flabbynsick: and no where near a top 10 player. If they win this year he will have the worst Finals stats of his career while being a third or fourth option.

Kobe had Shaq for his 3 peat, then he had Bynum/Pau for his next two titles.... come again? Dont even try it with that argument, you're gonna lose every time.

People always wanna bring up Timmy's supporting cast but outside of Tony and Manu please tell me the other great players Tim played with. David Robinson was washed up by 2001

Tim getting constant 50 win seasons surrounded by dudes like: Jaren Jackson, Danny Ferry (old), Antonio Daniels, Steve Jerry, Rasho Nesterovic, Terry Porter (old), Jerome Kersey, Drew Gooden, Keith Bogans, Roger Mason, Steve Smith (old), Ime Udoka, Antonio McDyess (old), Kurt Thomas (old), Avery Johnson, Fabricio Oberto, etc.

Tony Parker is the best PG in the league but he's not a superstar. :deadpac:

We're not even talking about the Shaq era here. Bynum? Dude hardly played in 09 and 2010. Stop it. His 8/6 averages over the course of those two title runs were SO impressive. Those are Tiago Splitter numbers. Pau, I'll give you that but Pau has never been better than Tony Parker.

Norfeast groovin…
Tim Duncan has won 70% of all the games he's played in. That's not just the best winning pct. in the NBA, but the best winning percentage amongst all North American professional leagues. That stat alone trumps Kobe's glorious individual achievements.
:beli:

Yet he still failed to defend a title(conference or NBA) and has a losing streak against Kobe's teams in the playoffs all time.

fukk outta here, the disrespect needs to stop. An equal of this generation I can agree with, but this nikka is ACTUALLY ridin coattails like yall falsely claim Kobe did and now he's better than Kobe. 2 regular MVPs like the Most Overrated PG of all times when one of those shoulda been J-Kidd's?

Real shyt, get this fukk nikka name out my face. How insulting...:pacspit:

Lose how? It was Kobe that was dominating the Spurs during the Shaq years you ain't watch the games? :usure:

Bynum/Pau yeah, but you tellin me a team of Bynum and Pau goes back to back without Kobe? :beli:

We get it, yall want to sweep Kobe under the rug once and for all but its just not happening. Your man all time in the playoffs is Kobe's bytch and he finally just tying him after years of absolute irrelevance. Why yall keep puttin these worthless fukks on the same level as our era's greatest? Shame yall never got to appreciate actual greatness...:wow2:

How about he outscores Danny Green first...

If Kobe had Duncan's supporting cast, he would have won 8 rings by now.

I kno right. this bum nicca has had a good team around for his whole career.

Kobe fans like to mention that Duncan wasn't a top 10 player from 09 to 12, but Duncan made up for it by being a 5 top player from 98 to 2000. When Kobe wasn't anywhere close to that level. So Duncan does have great longevity that's very comparable to Kobe's.

Tim never defended his title but he ain't never missed the playoffs either like Kobe has. If the only negative thing you can say about Tim is that he never went back to back then I can live with that

The lowest win total Tim ever had in a 82 game season is 50 wins. Kobe had a 3 season stretch of 34 wins, 45 wins and 42 wins and had 2 first round exits and a trip to the NBA lottery during that span

Get the fukk outta my face bruh

I thought we were comparing the type of players each player had around them, so in that case wouldn't Shaq count? As for Bynum, we both know he wasn't as healthy as possibly but he was a big reason why they won those rings. Despite what the numbers might tell you he was their defensive anchor for whenever a PG would blow by non defending Derek Fisher. I would say for the 2 rings Tony has been effective for, Pau Gasol has been atleast of equal talent.(Duncans 2nd ring doesn't count, Parker wasn't really who we see today) While Tony has always been good since his 4th year, he has gotten way more effective than he used to be.

I hate when people do this shyt. Duncan always had a great supporting cast.

Spurs fans love to brag that their GM is the best at finding and developing great players, but then on the other hand they love to say that Duncan never had any help.

So what is it?

Compared to the other teams Duncan's supporting cast was always one of the best.

Duncan been irrelevant since 07. His good year this year made people forget Tony Parker has been their best player and the reason why they are in the finals.

That said, i won't argue with you if you say he's the best player of the generation if he wins another ring, but let's not act he's been all great these last few years. First year making all nba team in what, 6 years lol?
