Kobes Two Jerseys
8 or 24 best player of the era
yea but your talking about the OLYMPICS. A team composed of 12-15 of the BEST players in the NBA
And he can't beat the rest of the world, and Kobe did, twice.

Stop it. Duncan didn't steal a MVP from Jason Kidd
Duncan's 2002 season: 25.5 ppg, 12.7 rpg, 51% from the field, 58 wins
Kidd: 14.7 ppg, 9.9 apg, 39%from the field, 50 wins

and no the Lakers are not the GOAT franchises....
fukk outta here nikka, Jason Kidd took one of the worst teams I have ever seen to the NBA finals. Even the Sixers had defense going for them at least, all Kidd had was K-Mart, bum ass Keith Van Horn, he took nikkaz like Kerry Kittles and Lucious Harris to the Finals, hell he even repeated the feat unlike your man. Sounds pretty valuable to me, most valuable in the league actually.
Funny how the fake MVP ain't play the real MVP that year, I wonder why......
You must be new around here, the Greatest Show on Earth, your Boss Angeles Lakers, is the GOAT franchise in all professional, semi-professional, Olympic, and amateur sports.![]()
I swear all this thread made me do was realize how badly the Lakers dropped the ball in terms of not having a competitive team around Kobe in the 06-07 years. A lot of his detractors could of been silence and the Lakers would have the most titles by now but5 and 16 straight for the moment.
MVP is for the regular season.... Duncan stole no one's MVP. That one was his period.
Lakers are not the GOAT franchise.... Celtics have more ships. End of story.
1. One more title from the Civil Rights era.
2. They were :washedwade: for the better part of 22 years whereas your GOAT franchise Boss Angeles Lakers have always been a competitive team throughout the decades and always been in the mix(call us spurs that actually get the job done more than once), more impact in the league overall, more important franchise, lol that one extra title is just so we can say those clown ass celtics are on equal standing with the magnificence that is the Lakers.
3.
Kobe stans always wanna say he owns the Spurs. But Timmy owns the Lakers too and of course they fail to mention that.
Duncan's playoff averages vs LA
98-99: 23.2, 11.5, 2.8, 2.6blk
00-01: 24.4, 14.5, 3.8, 2.7blk

So I got curious as to why you didn't post a FG% with these numbers and I did some research. Duncan shot 47.5% from the field as C/PF against the Lakers in 30 games played. Kobe shot 47.3% from the shooting guard position.
23.7ppg on 47.5%FG
compared to
28.2ppg on 47.3%FG
So let's try this again, who was dominating who in these playoff series?
or how they got away with robbery of the Grizzlies, he'd still only have 3 if it wasn't for that.
1. More rings is more rings.
2. You want to act like those years after Magic didn't happen?
3. Or how about the Lakers record vs Celtics in finals history....
Come again? We don't believe you, you need more people.
curious as to why you only posted ppg... basketball isn't only ppg

What robbery? Marc Gasol is arguably the best big in the league and the cap space generated from the trade enabled them to get Z-Bo. Meanwhile we're hamstrung with a washed up Pau. I'd say 70/30 Lakers only cuz of the two titles but that's just as much attributed to Kobe as it is to Memphis' lack of a truly great offensive wing with those bigs.
1. Actually it isn't plural, 08 saved them but it'll be a different case in due time. But its pretty irrelevant given their recent dominance pales to their distant past. Whereas the greatness of GOAT franchise is consistent and ever present in professional basketball.
2. Lakers wasn't competing for top lottery picks. lol, hell the season before they got KG/Ray them nikkaz as utter garbage. Lakers never stooped that low, even in this terrible season we just had.
3. Again with the 60s shyt, I suppose it should be mentioned the Lakers were the first dynasty and dominant power in the league, yet another notch of prestige under the belt of the real GOAT franchise. But that shyt doesn't matter.
Between the two, the Lakers managed to remain relevant and competitive for longer and have won many more since their last era of glory(Showtime) whereas Boston like I said only has that one title since. To me that doesn't make them GOAT franchise, cuz they never maintained even a glimmer of their greatness they just became as shytty as any expansion team. Not at all GOAT shyt.
fukk yo post nikka....:kickbuildings:
Agreed, that winning record and overall dominance over them throughout their playoff encounters should be taken into account.
