You're a known NL hater so ehh

Please support this. You don't have to of course, lol, but you said it so confidently that I'm sure you have some proof, right? Because if you pull up any No Limit thread you will probably see me in it saluting and showing nothing but love all thru it. I was a HUGE fan, I actually didn't know any other fans up top, I was buying everything! I'm not trying to shyt on No Limit or Snoop...I'm saying that the No Limit "sound" and overall feel combined with West Coast ass Snoop Dogg didn't mesh well, that's all I'm saying.

They only had one single and it would've had to have sold 2 million copies. Some of you are gullible.

The spundtrack sold 183,000 copies in its first week. It would have had have sold an average of 250K each week for 12 consecutive weeks to have done 3 million in 3 months.

Singles are not albums.

So Jay-Z first album hit a 1 million records, So Can't Knock The hustle sold how many singles? and his album actually did how much (I know you would do this)

"I got the hook up" sold 2 million in 3 months? Because the dude said the "album" sold 3 million in 3 months

Mia X - Unlady Like sold Gold, The single Party Don't Stop sold how many singles??

You trying to add "singles" with album sells and that doesn't work

Roddy Rich "singles" sitting at platinum and his album is NOT platinum

See how your examples doesn't make sense. Again, why would the Hip Hop Editor (Not P) lie about I GOT THE HOOK selling 3 million records in 3 months??

Doesn't RIAA have "I"m Bout It" selling 500K?? I'm bout it had 3 singles release "How you Do that", "If I could change", and I"m bout it" so all those singles sold under 500k combined?

How you do that came out before Bleed's album even dropped, so don't say that it ended up on Bleed's album because his album wasn't even out yet.. I'm Bout IT soundtrack had the single on the album

I'm Bout IT isn't a platinum single??

How can the album I"m Bout IT sell GOLD, but the singles for the album be platinum?? IF you saying that all singles are included in album sales??

Nah like i said before you don't understand the business side. You think the people from Priority records have a reason to lie?

The soundtrack was a huge success, peaking at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, becoming No Limit's first number-one album, with first week sales of 300,000 units. In addition, the single "If I Could Change" found success on the single charts, making it to number 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 27 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks and number 5 on the Hot Rap Singles; another single "Pushin' Inside You" made it to number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100. By January 22, 1998 the album had sold 2.6 million copies in the United States and 3.5 million worldwide

I don't believe this either because the album came out in April I wanna say, and the man stated on the series, it sold 3 million in 3 months. This article is saying it took 8 months or so to hit 2.6 million. This is not adding up with what the man stated on the series.

As I stated, those people wouldn't lie like that, The production team, after editing etc, they wouldn't have him say something like that... This series was prepared well in advance

Ghetto D hit 3 million,

P is a hustler and he knows there are people out there gullible enough to believe whatever he's selling without ever fact checking it. He had ads in The Soutce in 1999 with the following:

TRU- Da Crime Family (certified 2X Platinum), Mercedes- Rear End (certified Gold), Fiend- Street Life (certified Gold). 21 years later and Da Crime Family still sits at Gold and there is no record of Street Life or Rear End even being certified. So yes, P, like other CEO's lie about sales and certifications.

Tru 2 Da game - Did 2x

Tru 2 Da game had FEDZ, I Always Feel Like Watching me.... By your logic, The album sold 2x, that would means that it didn't sell 2x

How many singles did FEDZ, and I Always Feel Like Watching me do??

According to your logic, singles goes into Album sales, So Bow Wow albums really are not 2x, his singles for each album sold

Cut it out breh..

Execs n labels lie. Simple marketing tactics

I don't think those people in this series are lying to us.

I don't think ppl wanna believe the numbers these albums were selling.

As I stated, why would that dude lie about I Got The Hook Album selling 3 million in 3 months. They could have lied about Snoop album doing those numbers in that short span, or Mystikal but that soundtrack?? Why would they say that about "that" particular album and EVERY body who did this series let that shyt fly, they had time to edit it out or say what that man is saying isn't true, and P didn't say that either, it was an outside source who said it? They could have said such and such album did those numbers, a real artist, but that soundtrack...

Them people have no reason to boast a soundtrack, especially that one, they could have said I"m bout it.

Singles were not counted toward album sales before streaming was a thing. TRU 2 Da Game sold 1 million copies. Since it was a double, the RIAA certified it 2X platinum. Had it sold 2 million, it would be 4X platinum.

I NEVER said singles went into album sales.

Breh, he is a human being meaning he isn't above lying. Labels embellish sales all the time.

Think about it I Got The Hook Up would have to have sold 1 million copies per month to sell 3 million in 3 months. It sold 182K in week one. It would have had have sold an average 350K per week for 12 weeks to hit 3 million in three months.

Think about it, why would that outside dude say 3 million sold? For THAT Soundtrack

If it only sold 182 in its first week, that's no where near 3 million, or would see 3 million in 3 months, why would he say such a thing, and pick those numbers and those months??

You can't pull that outta yo ass,

Was this dude even on No Limit staff who made the statement??

I'm looking back at the series again, and in 1998

23 albums were released

It has the ones that went platinum and Gold

Mia X - Mama Drama went platinum

Mr. Magic - Sky's The Limit went Gold

Ghetto Commission went Gold

Skully Duggrey went Gold

Mean Green - went Gold

So this segment, P and everyone a part of this documentary are lying about these albums???

I didn't know Skully, Mean Green, Mr. Magic or GC all did numbers

You are not understanding. Singles don't count as album sales. Those are separate and some singles are not sold in the first place, therefore aren't eligible for certification.

Jay Z hit a million records 5 YEARS after release and those sales don't include the single.

I Got The Hook Up didn't sell 3 million copies or even 2 million.

Yes it is a lie because if you look on RIAA.com, most of those albums don't have a certification. It is updated as of the first week of this month.

So Rodney Carmichael lied about it selling 3 million in 3 months.

So if the Breakfast club repeat what this dude said in the series along with other outlets, they would be lying too?

So they are going to let this dude, make a statement like this? P and his team and others in the editing process is letting this dude make this statement, without saying, hold up, take that out..

Cut it out breh..

Breh, the media does this all the time. They get numbers wrong or embellish certifications. This information is available online refuting the numbers they are dishing out in the doc.
