I know they won't go into it but I would love to hear about how much he spent on pressing up CDs and promotion material.
Couldn't have been much cost since a lot of other labels were using them for their albums.
P may have spent on a project 40k-80k outta that 250k priority advanced, or he could have used his own money, dude was seeing 7.5 million just off 500k being sold from an album, not counting singles, or merch...
Krazy said P gave them money, and on top of that, the artist's things were already paid for in Cash, along with everything else, the artist didn't have to spend any of their 'own' money
Krazy did an interview and it was a good interview, Mr. Serv-on has one as well.. They actually go into details on these one on one. Fiend, KLC, when they do interviews, they break down what all was going on; but Krazy talks about P and his money,
It's stated in this interview with Krazy on how P would market the albums, I can't find it but Krazy makes the statement...but basically The Source or XXL one of them magazines would charge 15K for you to promote an album by for one artist, Krazy, said P would give the 40k to promote 4 or 5 artists in the magazine, The Source or whatever magazines would laugh or thought P was crazy and would take the deal, not understanding that P was giving exposure to multiple artists rather than just 1, like how other labels were doing
You taking 40k to promote 4 or 5 different projects, you are winning at the end of the day..
Krazy talks about how the "Jukebox" we called it "The box" played a role too...
Krazy said P had 300 people lined up for checks and folks were getting 15k for their service, I assume these folks were street runners, and henchmen/bodyguards
