There's a difference between spirituality and organized religion. Most educated religious people do not believe there's an old bearded white man in the sky that looks like a human and judges us from above. Stop listening to these arrogant atheists for your views on religion.
.
Came in here to say this, intelligent people know there's not some old white man in the sky controlling everything.
However, there is a collective consciousness documented by quantum physics and things like the random number generators all over the world being effected by world events. If you do your research it is impossible to deny the existence of an intelligent supra-consciousness which permeates everything, read books like the Divine Cosmos, the Holographic Universe, the Perennial Philosophy, its undeniable.
Rudolf Steiner (look him up) says there are spiritual beings that exist as fields of consciousness that effect our lives not the one God. Each person has a higher consciousness, some call it an angel which exists in the real of consciousness which effects our day to day life, many people confuse this being with God. If you step into the street then suddenly decide to step back and a car whizzes by you its nit God who was the impetus for you to stop, its this higher conscious being which is a part of your consciousness and thus interacts with you on a conscious and unconscious level. Give thanks to this entity for such things not the all that is, collective consciousness, source field that gives birth to all things and encompasses all things.
Anyway, obviously a post isn't going to change anyone's view on such things but for a lot of people something happens in their life which sparks an interest in such things then they do their research with an open mind, such people invariably find truth in the existence of something greater then themselves, something which cannot be dismissed or argued away.
Anyone into such things should check out Rudolf Steiner, dude has the answers to every bug question in life.
