The same way I can say there is no Santa Claus or fairy godmother...

Even some physicists believe in god. They see god as nature and whatever force put the reality we live in motion.

I used to think like you but as ive grown ive realized theres some truth to it everywhere. I don't pray, im not a christian but i do meditate.

There are different ways to reach the truth, be it from jesus, allah or the buddah or whatever.

Try and be more open minded, and stop thinking you know everything about religion and its followers. You cant just condense thousands of years of history and religion into 'lol white jesus'

I dont even agree with everything hes saying but this man deserves to be celebrated for being able to lay down a high paying job based on the values he holds.

Survival of the fittest
I'm amazed at how seemingly intelligent people can believe there's some devine Cac in the sky eager for praise and calling all the shots.

And with Blacks being the most devowed worshippers, we've suffered more than anyone. And the wicked that enslave, raoe, castrated and made us hate ourselves lived wonderful prosperous live and prosperity has been passed down generation after generation.

Christianity has has been the white man's greatest instrument to help keep us down, docile and dumb.

:camby:
Hmm Hmm Hmm, such cuteness. Such perceived intellect from a feeble brained child. How can you enlighten others when your own brain is incapable of discerning the very essence of what surrounds you?You are a babe that likes to believe it is ready to eat meat rather than mother's milk. Do you truly believe your kind, collectively or individually, are destined to be anything other than subservient and dependent PETS on this planet? Your species fails to outlive TREES, yet you believe you are fit to call yourselves experts on what it means to live. Now prostrate yourself before me, or become engulfed in the fiery winds of OBLIVION.

(1) There is no god...Just like there is no Santa Claus...But people are free to believe whatever helps them sleep at night...Humans need to believe...

(2) The absolute truth is not knowable...All we have are relativity and probability...It is POINTLESS to "seek the truth"...The average Human has only 80 years and the time before an individual and the time after an individual is INFINITE...

So, the only thing/s that matter is what the individual believes matters...Some people find their peace making lots of money, other devote themselves helping those who are less capable, other do both and million other others...

But not a SINGLE human being is closer to the truth relative to another human being...The gap is so huge that even a Physicists' "intelligence" is negligible compared to the less intelligent among us...

A physicist is like a man dropping a grain of salt in an infinite ocean of knowledge, even if he dropped 250 grains, in the long run it wouldn't make a difference...

(3) I have no beef with religion...People need religion in one form or another...They just call it different things at different times as we gather more knowledge, but it all comes from the same desire to have "meaning" and feel knowledgeable about something...

@nineteeneightysix

I brought up a physicist not because I believe scientists are smarter or have special access to truth, but because you said there was no god. That's just not true because god means many different things to many different people. Just as you have acknowledged. The example of a scientist that might be religious is just because most people think science and religion are counter to each other.

(2) The absolute truth is not knowable...All we have are relativity and probability...It is POINTLESS to "seek the truth"...The average Human has only 80 years and the time before an individual and the time after an individual is INFINITE...

I don't even know what you mean by absolute truth, but the quest for truth and knowledge is far from a wasted one. You can look at the bible as a record of the history and morality of people 2000 years ago... Since then, a lot of debates have gone on in ethics and philosophy and a lot of questions and their possible answers have been categorized. People who are aware of these issues do in fact know more than others.

You can also look at it as the literal word of God... I don't, but I don't claim to know these peoples minds and or believe I have the authority to discount any personal revelation they might have had.

There's a difference between spirituality and organized religion. Most educated religious people do not believe there's an old bearded white man in the sky that looks like a human and judges us from above. Stop listening to these arrogant atheists for your views on religion.

.

Came in here to say this, intelligent people know there's not some old white man in the sky controlling everything.

However, there is a collective consciousness documented by quantum physics and things like the random number generators all over the world being effected by world events. If you do your research it is impossible to deny the existence of an intelligent supra-consciousness which permeates everything, read books like the Divine Cosmos, the Holographic Universe, the Perennial Philosophy, its undeniable.

Rudolf Steiner (look him up) says there are spiritual beings that exist as fields of consciousness that effect our lives not the one God. Each person has a higher consciousness, some call it an angel which exists in the real of consciousness which effects our day to day life, many people confuse this being with God. If you step into the street then suddenly decide to step back and a car whizzes by you its nit God who was the impetus for you to stop, its this higher conscious being which is a part of your consciousness and thus interacts with you on a conscious and unconscious level. Give thanks to this entity for such things not the all that is, collective consciousness, source field that gives birth to all things and encompasses all things.

Anyway, obviously a post isn't going to change anyone's view on such things but for a lot of people something happens in their life which sparks an interest in such things then they do their research with an open mind, such people invariably find truth in the existence of something greater then themselves, something which cannot be dismissed or argued away.

Anyone into such things should check out Rudolf Steiner, dude has the answers to every bug question in life.

Another point,

Why do Christian Artists (the majority) believe when they rediscover their superstition their art has to be "clean and child friendly"?

I read the Bible (greatest collection of fictional books ever), and it is full of glory, defeat, despair, love, hate, life and death...It has the basis of most stories being lived and told to this day...

So, there is NO LOGIC in stopping to rap about "moving weight and gunplay" because you have discovered Jesus...What does Jesus promise the people who don't believe? death and violence and pain...

Malice could have remained a part of Clipse and continued to write verses like "I am not you"...One of the GREATEST verses in Hip Hop history, and it was PERFECTLY righteous and conscious...

I can't stand this bullshiet of artists robbing us of their talent because they "discovered religion"...

lol whats your problem, he's not living that life anymore, it doesn't interest him anymore, people move on,get over it

I cut this shyt off when he said it's not black and white, it's sinning and not sinning. How can a black man say this when black women, kid, and young men are being killed by white cops and they're not getting convicted of any wrongdoing. Black people are so fukking stupid with this bs sometimes.
