When Lord Willin came out Malice was top 5 in the game. His whole verse on the intro to that CD was :krs:

"I'm one of the greats I can't lie,
I mean great to the point I'm concerned I might die"- the way the nikka spit that had me believing I unconsciously missed about 5 years of the rap game in which the new goat came and took over the game

By the time HHNF came out though, he became unlistenable to me- nikka had bars but the flow was all over the place

I don't know about goat:whoa:....but he reminded me a lot of the arrogant Jay of the time, but still had that reasonable doubt level of introspection :blessed:....I kept wondering when he was gon throw his brother in the bushes and go solo:camby:...with that said Lord Willin is overated as shyt but showed a lot of potential...too bad they had to go but its too many hiphop tragedys this one don't rank all that high....good luck to Malice,Pusha actually delvered on his solo album imo despite me not getting the hype of his mixtapes.

I applaud a 40 year old man who decides that he has better things to do with his life than rap about drugs he never sold...

Now if only he could get Pusha T(oyota) to do it to

Agreed... Lord Wilin (outside of the Singles and a couple of other joints) wasn't really that good. However, After that, they Came back HARD! Oh also written in the unwritten commandments of Hip Hop...... Thou Shall Not Disrespect nikkas with verses as HONEST, Intropspective and DOPE as Verse 2 on this song (Malice).. EVER! .... That one verse was more more meaningful than alotta nikkas 10 year career.

:mjlol: Malice is so afraid of getting indicted that he's still pushing this whole act.
Push has no fear, or he just wasn't involved like that? I didnt pay much attn to this whole ordeal when it first hit a few yrs back

If you watch his last video, Blaspheme (can't post it, at work). He views fans asking him to go back to his old style in the same way people asking him to buck dance.

Pusha toned it down a lot but after those indictments came down and his name wasn't on it, he went back to coke rapping...

That whole thing was hella strange to me...two dudes who rap about coke, claiming that the coke raps are just metaphors for other things, when in fact it is just rapping about coke, end of having a manager who was really selling keys, and when them indictments come down both of them are like "we had no idea what was going on"

Push is a decent rapper, but I can't take him seriously as a man...you can't be out here rapping about all the drugs you sold then when a nikka in your circle is found to really be doing that you get shook and go into hiding

Malice found the lord and got away from the demonic filth in his music. Im not sure why friends feel a way about that. Either you want friends to be righteous or not. Are you guys with Satan or God. Sheesh.

I dunno man, I think Push is making enough clean money, maybe he snitched, or maybe he wasn't involved in shyt. My guess is neither was involved but I'm sure they were both witness and were essentially accesories since they both acted as Tony's drug front.

Also you gotta remember Mal has a family. He's got a wife, kids, Push is still single and has no known kids or anything like that. He has a lot less to lose, and I don't think that whole ordeal shook him as much as it did Mal who has a lot more to lose. He might genuinely be really religious and shaken though so that might explain why he just refuses to do that music again.

i thought this was obvious when malice turned into no malice, him and pusha are clearly in different worlds now so a new clipse album wont make sense

What are you talking about? He talks about the snitches that brought his people down all the time.
