I don’t understand how you would want to marry someone but don’t want to have the same name as your family. Are the kids going to have your last name or his? Or are they gonna have to hyphenate? I just feel like this isn’t the hill to die on. How you expect somebody to commit to you and you’re being petty about a last name. Why even get married? What’s funny is she’ll probably have her dad “give her away” at the wedding but won’t change last names. Make it make sense.
