Oregon hits a 3 at the buzzer :dead:

team misses the tourney this season I'm ready for Juwan and Martelli to :camby:

I will say they did suprise tying the game three times in ot when down. they played with some poise and got beat at the buzzer. but the tunover to end regulation and going down three sepeate times in ot can't happen as well

:beli: another loss. Team seems to be playing to ''get theirs'' and ''personal stats'' :snoop: Defense has been terrible lately. I'm ready to blow everything up and start over.

Wow, watching that game last night was very irritating to say the least.

Taris Reed has regressed so much with his defense, terrible FT’s & poor hands that you can’t even play him. Cheddar has more heart but he’s such a defensive liability as well.

Dug is the supposed to be the best player and he missed four key FT’s in different moments down the stretch that cost them the game. He does so much dribbling but can’t do anything with guards with size.

Jackson off the bench has been trash, Burnett is way too inconsistent and doesn’t play defense, neither does nakhouma.

Not even out of December with 5 losses considering where the program was a few years ago is a disappointment. Playing defense is a mentality and I see why these guys were in the portal. They are too inconsistent. Jawan may be coaching for his job this season. Poorly constructed roster with no depth and heart off the bench.

They're inexplicably bad on defense when they have the athletes for it to be their strength. What does that tell you? It's the coaching staff.

This past off-season was the time to turnover the staff, but Juwan elected not to and that's inexcusable. Harbaugh and Beilein, who have much longer track records, turned over theirs when they weren't getting it done. I'm not saying fire everyone, but how can you not make a change?

Yeah it’s over for Juwan. I don’t even know who we go get.
In no particular order:

Dusty May, Speedy Claxton, Darian DeVries, Wes Miller, Shaka Smart, Greg McDermott, Niko Medved (similar play style as Beilein), Jay Wright (make him say no), Billy Donovan (probably done with college).

Those are guys I know without doing any real legwork. The requirement is head coaching experience, this isn't a "baby's first job" type of program.

I agree I think Juwan is being too loyal to his staff. The silver lining is the last three teams they lost to (Memphis, TTU, & Indiana) could be potential sweet 16, elite 8 teams so they can play with anyone It's just when the games are close, Michigan always folds and the common denominator is coaching.

The former alum/ex-NBA player formula doesn't appear to work well across college hoops

Fewer spots to fill on a team and greater distribution of talent across rosters. It works in football because if you go to a blue blood and recruit well you have an extreme advantage while working to get better.
