This was already rumored too. Netflix won't be there at launch, which is pretty dumb if you ask me, but it should come at some point. The Wii can run Netflix lol

Some of yall are right. It's not needed. But it's about understanding consumers. There will be a lot of people that take that as a negative. You guys have the luxury of reading the article in front of a computer or mobile device, processing it and being rational. If this past political season has taught us anything it should be that Americans aren't rational people.
You already have an SD card slot; just give me a basic media player eventually and I can do the rest...

Want to call this a tablet but it doesn't do anything but play games. You can say well I have other devices to do that well that just means less reasons to take the switch with me which is its selling point. If I still got to carry a tablet then what's the point

yup, some of us have kids and id love to have a one stop shop Nintendo device: Games designed for the tv, games designed for the handheld, tablet functions that mirror the two Amazon tablet i already have for them.
the way it looks now, the system just ain't worth it and dumb ass Nintendo missed the boat.
I know hell and damn well I'm not alone in wanting this and other parents are looking at this shyt too

Netflix isn't make or break but its an easy selling point to add and brings more usefulness to a device they want u to carry around

No but there is a market for people that only want that, and I have a friend that only has a flip phone and that's all he wants.
there isn't a console that is strictly for gaming however.
