No Netflix on the Switch

No but there is a market for people that only want that, and I have a friend that only has a flip phone and that's all he wants.

there isn't a console that is strictly for gaming however.

No one else does it cause it's a terrible idea in 2k17

It's pretty dumb but no deal breaker. Those things will be there eventually. They are standard apps on like every mobile device ever

This isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but this seems to bolster the theory of the Switch being rushed into the marketplace.

Tv/movie apps are no big deal for consoles. In 2017 every tv has Netflix Hulu Vudu Amazon or HBO

So this is no big deal because I would be damn if I'm watching Netflix on my console over my 2000$ 4K TV

the Switch is also a portable device though. it would be nice to be able to use this to watch stuff on the go

Not really, especially when you can't run them both simultaneously. Now for instance on the Wii U since its possible to play mario kart on the gamepad only and stream netflix to the tv, if you could do both at the same time that would be dope. the fact that you are limited to one but have the option of both is kind of weak. So i have netflix goin on the playstation for my niece (3) and mario kart 8 on the gamepad for my nephew (5)

It'll come, it just means that the app will be behind the paywall when their online becomes a paid service.

Still havnt touched netflix on my ps4 i guess it should be on there since its a travel device....but still if u gonna travel like that i assume u have a tablet or phone and wont want to burn the 3hr battery on netflix

Nintendo probably gonna make their own video streaming service. Only thing different is that it'll 2X as expensive as netflix and only get to stream one movie a day. They'll start off their streaming service with like 4 movies and half a tv episode.

I think it's less about not having it and more about Nintendo exposing themselves by making it look like they rushed this system out.
