I guess you missed the part where Sony said the Vita is a legacy device outside Asia. Why bother dropping the price? The platform has quietly been killed off for the most part. It's like the Xbox 360 and PS3 I doubt they get any further price reductions. Instead they'll just stop making them and when the supply dries up that's that. The Vita will likely die just like that.
