They also sad that they gonna cut down on characters since they nearly had 60(!) characters in TTT2. Makes sense storywise because it is impossible to write down 60 good, or even decent, different storylines for all the characters to the point of exhaustion from the creators. That is why Tekken 6 was so sub-par for Tekken fans because of the stupid endings and the weak ass story mode and the campaign mode that was ehh at best.

Tekken 7 is gonna have fewer characters, a lot more fighting modes, and other bonuses as their (suppose) swan song of the series.
