I kinda figured that after the season premiere some of the next few episodes would be kinda meh... havent watched the new one yet, but the 2 preview videos I've seen didn't look that interesting

It's still decent. And it demonstrates something, that Ezra is/will be very powerful Not Skywalker level, but very powerful.
