Real recognize real. You are unmatched and concede
lol @ this bullshytMost studies actually say that there's litlle difference between a black and a white person when it comes to sentencing, and that the true disparity only occurs when the person is darker and blacker. There are other factors to consider which also matter like the fact 1) the victim is a child and 2) he was beaten horribly. The victim's age and nature of death will probably influence the case more than the fact he's half black. Why don't we wait for the damn verdict before damning the system
Man shut the fukk up. U under privileged ma fukkaHe killed a BLACK child....you already know what it is.

http://www.deathpenalty.org/article.php?id=54Racial Disparities Occur in Death Sentencing Across the USA:
- The race of the victim and the race of the defendant in capital cases are major factors in determining who is sentenced to die in this country.
- In 1990 a report from the General Accounting Office concluded that "in 82 percent of the studies [reviewed], race of the victim was found to influence the likelihood of being charged with capital murder or receiving the death penalty, i.e. those who murdered whites were more likely to be sentenced to death than those who murdered blacks."
About 1,100 people have been executed in the United States in the last three decades. Harris County, Tex., which includes Houston, accounts for more than 100 of those executions. Indeed, Harris County has sent more people to the death chamber than any state but Texas itself.
Yet Harris County’s capital justice system has not been the subject of intensive research — until now. A new study to be published in The Houston Law Review this fall has found two sorts of racial disparities in the administration of the death penalty there, one commonplace and one surprising.
The unexceptional finding is that defendants who kill whites are more likely to be sentenced to death than those who kill blacks. More than 20 studies around the nation have come to similar conclusions.
But the new study also detected a more straightforward disparity. It found that the race of the defendant by itself plays a major role in explaining who is sentenced to death.
I'm calling bullshyt. Every study I've seen on the topic has shown a significant disparity between how blacks and whites are sentenced (particularly when it comes to younger offenders). The only debate is whether or not the disparity has grown in recent years.

There's way more shyt I could find and post but I don't have time right now...But yeah, that comment was bullshyt. most studies show racial disparities in how defendants are sentenced, so many in fact that the U.N. has called out the United States for human rights violations.

The man charged with killing Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson's 2-year-old son last year has been arrested in a kidnapping and assault while out on bond.
Accused killer Joseph Robert Patterson, 28, of Sioux Falls is now being held on a $1 million cash-only bond after allegedly kidnapping and attacking the slain boy's mother at her apartment early Tuesday.
Patterson, who has a history of domestic incidents, had been free on $750,000 bond after being charged in Tyrese Peterson's tragic death in October 2013.
He was ordered to stay away from the boy's mother, whom he was living with at the time of the boy's death, as well as anyone else in her family.
Instead Patterson allegedly visited the woman at her apartment and choked her twice, causing her to lose consciousness, the Argus Leader reported.
"Mr. Patterson is a danger to both the victim and the community," Judge Joni Cutler said at Patterson's court appearance Wednesday.
He was booked into the Minnehaha County Jail early Wednesday morning on charges of aggravated assault, interference with emergency communication, kidnapping and damaging property, jailhouse records show.
Meanwhile Lincoln County State's Attorney Tom Wollman has reportedly filed a motion to revoke his previous $750,000 bond on the 2013 murder case.
