why do black award shows keep giving white artists awards especially ones that don't even show up? i thought these award shows were in part to show appreciation to the under-appreciated black artists

The way the booth tells it, R. Kelly practically existed in a vacuum in the 90's.

I remember being clowned on here for even mentioning Babyface in the same sentence as R. Kelly. Yeah, R. Kelly has a better catalog as an artist and singer. As a producer and songwriter though, Babyface>>>>>>. Face has classics for decades. R. Kelly has classics and is still a genius, but it is what it is.
