It was said.

What was said was Kobe aint win without Shaq and Gasol.

I responded back with: LeBron aint won shyt without Wade and Jordan aint won shyt without Pippen either:manny:

jordan only played 3 seasons before pippen. :snoop:

how many players lead their team to the title during their rookie and sophomore seasons?

definitely not Kobe. dude only started a total of 7 games in his first two years. and was averaging less than 8 points as a rook. Meanwhile Jordan lead a team full of :flabbynsick: players like an 80 year old george gervin and charles oakley to the playoffs in his rookie season. and averaged damn near 30 in both the reg season and the playoffs.

So we re-writing history now breh?

1985:
Jordan's rookie season he led the Bulls to the playoffs with a 38-44 record:scusthov:

That team also did not have George Gervin OR Charles Oakley on the team. The top 8 players on that team, including Jordan, averaged 24.8 years of age and only 3 years in the NBA:yeshrug:

However, they did have 25 year old, 6'9 SF Orlando Woolridge averaging 22.9 ppg on 55.4% from the field and and 24 year old, Quintin Dailey averaging 16 ppg in 26 minutes off the bench.

Jordan led his team to 1 victory in the 1st round series and was sent fishing

1986:
Jordan only played 18 games (the team went 9-9 when he played) and the team made the playoffs with a DISGUSTING 30-52 record:what:

Orlando Wooldridge put up 20.7 ppg on 49.5% FG, George Gervin WAS on the team at this time and averaged 16.2 ppg in 25.2 minutes, and Charles Oakley was FARRRRRR from flabby and sick being that he was a rookie. He gave 9.6 ppg and 8.6 rpg in only 23 minutes.

Jordan was swept out of the playoffs in the 1st round this time

1987:
Jordan led the team to the playoffs with ANOTHER sub .500 record of 40-42:childplease:

He averaged 28 shots per game that season on route to scoring 37 ppg. Second leading scorer on the team was 2nd year player, 23 year old Charles "Who You Calling Flabby And Sick Breh?" Oakley putting up 14.5 ppg and 13.1 rebs....including 20 ppg and 15.3 rebs a game in the playoffs.

Once again, Jordan was swept out of the playoffs

As a matter of fact, in the games that Michael Jordan has played, he's never had a WINNING RECORD WITHOUT SCOTTIE PIPPEN:mindblown:

1985: 38-44 (1-3 in the playoffs)
1986: 9-9 (0-3 in the playoffs)
1987: 40-42 (0-3 in the playoffs)
2002: 30-30 (Didnt make the playoffs)
2003: 37-45 (Didnt make the playoffs)

Career total record without Scottie? 154-170 (1-9 in the playoffs):damn:

And THAT is your GAWD?

you can't be serious with this trolling, and if you're, you're either an idiot (possible) or misguided (maybe).

The bulls in Jordan's first year improved by 11 games, as they made the playoffs and lost to a good bucs team as jordan put up 29 a game.

the next year, michael breaks his foot and misses 64 games, he comes back later in the season and helps them makes the playoffs in which they lost to one of the 5 greatest teams of all time. He puts up 49 in game 1 and 63 in game 2 which prompts bird to call Michael "god in basketball shorts"

The following year the bulls improve yet again with Michael playing a full season, they come up short to a team that would have won the finals had mchale not broken his foot and walton been hurt. Again no shame in that.

Scottie's rookie season in 1988, Jordan was league MVP, and the bulls won 50 games. Scottie was playing 7-10 minutes per game, so don't troll me talking about he was the reason for the bulls improvement. As jordan got older, and got surrounded by a capable supporting cast and steady coach (doug collins) the team won more and got better.

read the thread and sit down son

So you quote me. Then when I respond you say read the thread.:stopitslime:

If the answer is in the thread why even bother quoting me, if the question is already answered.

And just for the record grant being compared to the bigs era was/is a stupid answer.

Hakeem, d.rob, chuck, chief, Ewing, shaq, mutombo, mourning etc. just to name a few. And those were the top tier players. Jordan wasn't even playing with second tier bigs for the most part.

Now I'll wait for you to tell me what bigs Jordan play w/ compared to those players.

And I'll also wait to see why you aren't comparing year 1, 2, 3 etc. of mj's career compared to year 1, 2, 3, etc. of Kobe's career?

Edit:rodman is comparable. Not in his prime though and giving you 0 offense.
And to delve further into this debate. When I say say bigs I mean mostly the post. Jordan was the post player atleast in the second half of his career.

So you think Kobe's allstar/hof post/bigs are equal to a past his prime rodman?

He's right but he's very disingenuous with this. He's not accounting for the fact that NO ONE expected the early bulls team to win any championships despite the improvements from Jordan early on with the team record.

He's also putting up a record of a 39-40 year old jordan at the end of his career acting like the wizards had championship aspirations.

Jordan had 7 years in which the bulls were a viable championship team, and he won 6 times only losing in 1990 in game 7 to the eventual champion pistons.

What kinda argument is this?:beli:

You didnt dispute ANYTHING I posted and saying the team improved is a moral victory for u Jordan stans.

Everything I posted was a fact, Jordan has never lead a team to a winning record without Scottie Pippen, and u didnt point out any lies I may have said......because there arent any lies.

Its all true.

It was ETHER to Jordan Stans that cant be refuted

2nd, Now because Jordan on the Wiz werent expected to make the Finals, those seasons dont matter......but Kobes seasons with Kwame, Smush, and Luke do?:childplease:

Face it, your idol had a losing record in games he played without Pippen

your being obtuse on purpose to prove a point.

Since when do we judge players based them being young pups and old dogs.

Your stats are when jordan was 21-23 and 39 and 40.

Anyone without an agenda can see that's ridic, and they look at the whole pie instead of a slice.

I like how you didn't refute anything i said though
