The funny thing is that in his 10th season LeBron had 9 50 point games while Kobe had 15. So he's not that far off.
Because he played with Shaq for 8 years. Kobe was a much better player in the early 2000's than his stats indicated.

You honestly believe Kobe would only have 15 50 point games by his 10th season if he didn't play with Shaq? :rudy:

Aight, you have a point but it doesn't even matter. LeBron isn't about the high scoring games like Kobe is.

Still great players but both impact the games in their own way. :ehh:

So everybody who makes an all-NBA first team is a top 5 player?

I was actually watching the NBA then. How old are you?

Again, who was he better than of the people I named? Malone? Robinson? Jordan? Who?

In 94 Hakeem, Robinson and Malone were the only players that were clearly better.

27ppg (56%fg), 74.2%ft, 42.0% 3pt, 8rebs, 7ast, 1.7stl
35ppg (45%fg), 85.0%ft, 34.7% 3pt, 5rebs, 5ast, 1.8stl

All around the board, Kobe was a better shooter. Lebron's horrific at free throw shooting. That should be your biggest indicator that something's off here. Why is a dude shooting 56% from the field so garbage at the foul line? :aicmon: Well, you can't lay it up from there :lolbron: He hasn't all of a sudden become a better 3pt shooter either, he's taking 2 less shots than he used to in Cleveland. He's being efficient but, you fukk boys get it confused. Dorks will look at Bron's FG & think he's a better shooter. People with common sense will see where his production is coming from. Durant impresses me, shooting 50% from primarily jumpers. Lebron doesn't. fukk outta here. Charles Barkley used to routinely hit 60%fg or close to it, while Jordan never came close. Only an idiot would use that as an indicator of being a better scorer.

Lebron's a better rebounder. He supposed to be though.

Kobe's had more steals but, who cares. Its a marginal difference at best.

Not impressed over Bron's assists either. The system runs through him. He's a 6"9 power forward and the facilitator of his offense. shyt is abnormal. nikkas like Mario Chalmers have to sacrifice their own production, playing 30 minutes a game and only having 3 assists for the year, so Lebron can pad his stats. If Chris Paul or Steve Nash got traded to Miami, they have to share with this ballhog ass nikka.

For the last 5 games, Bron put up 31ppg on 71% fg.

In his prime Kobe had 4 games of 50 points or more, all over 50% shooting then had 45 the 5th game. He outscored Dallas by himself and emptied 81 points against Toronto :childplease:

He also went for 9 games & averaged: 44.0 ppg, 50fg%, 5.2 rpg, 3.4 apg, 2.56 spg :salute:

Prime Lebron can't go on those kinds of shooting spurts because he doesn't have the skill set. Only Kobe & Jordan could do that kind of shyt. You can't score 60 points a game worrying about your field goal percentage :childplease: You can't score 50 points a game on fast breaks and cutting to the basket, you need to actually have a jumper, an assortment of methods to get your shot off & the ability to hit free throws. That's not LeBron.

Yet he's better than a nikka who excelled in all of those areas though :dead: I let yall tell it though.

Good points. But thats only half the game. Brons defense>>> Kobes.

Kobe may have extreme confidence in taking shots from anywhere, but he is nowhere near as versatile as bron on defense.

Being able to switch onto and effectively guard 80 percent of the league for stretches at a time>>>>> kobes defense of guards and some forwards.

Have to let the season play out to see if bron has a better season than 06 kobe.

But it depends on what you value..

absurd amounts of scoring with low percentages, wide array of moves and shots
OR
consistent and efficient scoring, sharing the ball, better defense

Pippen was better than Shaq in 94? :russ: He wasn't better than Ewing then either.

Even if you stretch and make the case that he was #5 for one year (which I disagree with) this matter of fact statement of "Pippen was a top 5 player" is a pretty absurd statement. He was always considered a top 10 player, not top 5.

Yea, he wasn't better than Shaq. Mistake on my part.

I have Pippen as the 5th best player that year after those bigs. You can make a solid argument for other players, but I liked Pippen's all around game that year.

I didn't read one single word of that block of text, a nikka that admits he doesn't watch a player, yet argues against them is no better than a female trying to talk sports once a year when championships roll around.

:umad:

Where you do you get "I dont watch basketball games" from "I dont follow every Heat game" :stopitslime:

:shaq:

dude said jordan was most impressive for winning without any real "big men" so i posted the bigs he played with after u quoted me saying what big men did he play with...so now when did anyone say specifically 5s? its whatever breh i think i proved my point:smugfavre:

And what big man did jordan win with? Cartwright,Longley, will perdue? Bill wennington?:wtf: All of em sucked

so i'll ask again, a power forward is not a big?
