:mjlol:Y'all in here tryna spin Space X not potentially killing people as an L. Don't feel a type of way because you didn't bother to consider where KSC is located and the external factors impacting space missions
Yes or no time:

Do you think this delay dampened enthusiasm?

Do you think they should have known prior to 15 minutes before launch that they weren't going to be able to make the launch window based on the large weather pattern that has cropped up a day prior?

:russ: @ you negging me and calling me emotional. You should take your own advice

No this won't be dampen enthusiasm, they delay launches all the fukking time. You'd know this if you really were into these launches and weren't tryna cherry pick this because you don't like Elon. There was a launch within the last 2-3 weeks slated for 3am that got pushed back to 9am. The weather was also bad and also avoidable, where was the thread then? Is it only an L if innocent people don't die?

Yes they could've lookrd at the weather forecast and not had this launch, much like OP could've checked the forecast before tryna celebrate this as a W

Them Bernie Bros got you too volatile about this online shyt :picard: I'd suggest a break but with the election around the corner there is no escape:wow:

Get off Elon's dikk
Stop bismerching the gawds name, he’s making history while you read about it. Safety over everything. If something goes wrong it’s on Elon’s head as chief engineer & he will have to be the one to face the family of the astronauts plotting the shuttle. They should always cancel if the weather doesn’t cooperate

I have no ill will against you as a poster but you're on some weirdo shyt rn with this specific hill you're tryna die on. Why wouldn't there be disappointment over a scrubbed launch? Its always cool to see people sent to space so ofc those who looked forward to it will be disappointed. Your question was if it would dampen enthusiasm, and why would it? They didn't scrub because they're incapable, they scrubbed because of "excessive electricity in the atmosphere that could trigger lightning." Its encouraging they aren't rushing this shyt and endangering lives needlesly

Its strange how you asked me that question just to reply with this tweet when you could've just put the tweet in your message as your evidence. I can tell you're invested in this though so feel free to continue celebrating that they didn't cause another Challenger

You're the one overly invested..

Having to delay the much anticipated and highly lucrative first manned space launch on US soil can easily be considered an L especially considering the amount of fanfare that was put into this historic moment.

The fact that it isn't the most catastrophic loss or the fact that delays happen doesn't change that.

Currently NASA and SpaceX are attempting to drum up support for this launch, get the press out that it was merely due to weather and nothing nefarious, as well as maintain their position as the premier position in the commercial space program.

If the launch went off successfully yesterday none of that would be happening and enthusiasm will be through the roof.

But it didn't.

:umad:

And get back to work. Make sure the weather is good for Saturday! :heh:

I'm the one overly invested but you know the play by play and breakdown of what NASA and Space X are trying to accomplish:pachaha:
The only evidence you poster of "dampened enthusiasm" was a tweet of dissapointment from Space X . You also ignored the fact they delayed a launch a few weeks ago. Did that dampen enthusiasm for this? Nah but thats different right. Its supposed to storm Saturday too, I bet this country will be sooo disappointed they aren't launching rockets during a thunderstorm. You act like all this shyt won't be forgotten if they successfully put Americans on the ISS. Only way this becomes a real L is if they fail to launch or there's casualties

Breh what kinda slight is telling me to get shyt perfect for Saturday:russ:
"Go back to work controlling the weather you stupid ass rocket scientist":deadmanny:

At first we know nothing about it. Now we're overly invested.
