I will be in San Diego for the first time ever later this month. I don't "plan" on visiting any hoods, but curiousity may get me close to some of them.

I know that Cali is active (re: dumb), so what colors should I avoid wearing, and around what neighborhoods? I don't wear sports team caps. I'm not tatted up or part of any gang?

Please answer honestly for the sake of everyone. Thanks.

*Also, is it like LA where only the lowest of the low take public transportation?

I just want to say that America is fukking retarded.

Americans actually associate public transit with being poor.

Yet you go to European countries and their public transit system is something every other country wishes they had.

My rant is over. Enjoy San Diego. I’ve been there and it was fun. Let us know if you decide to cross the border. Mexico can be fun.

I agree, but the fact of the matter is that, in LA at least, most of the people on public transportation are there because they can't afford a car.

Enough of that "homeless-hotspot" though, how's San Diego? I'm happy that you enjoyed it. I hope I will too.

That’s what happens when the aviation and motor corporations have lobbyist in their back pockets. All the while whilst preaching about us needing to be more green and environmentally friendly whilst increasing the wholesale gas prices.

Don’t forget being against free healthcare because that biracial president put his name on it.

I’d cry at the absurdity of it all if I wasn’t able to find some humor in this backwards society.

I haven’t been in 10 years so I couldn’t even give a recommendation on what to do. I was with in-laws who drank a lot. So. Yeah.
