I can bet most of drake's "haters" actually fukked with his music or were actual fans of him. Some of us even grew to like him overall despite finding him corny at first.

So it's not surprising that we are not happy that he's involved in that much fraudulent shyt. C'mon brehs, getting ghost writers for features? Having dudes write your shyt for 4+ years, then claim it's your shyt? Using reference tracks with full verses, flows, and cadences? Possibly paying off a lot of people in the industry to avoid scrutiny?

If you are really a fan of hip hop, these are things that are really hard to ignore. Can't blame those who feel some some type of way about this.

Na people who knew the deal with Drake never fukked with his music. None of this is shocking to us.

Anybody who was a fan of Drake after that whole reading a freestyle off a blackberry fiasco should have all their opinions on hip hop rendered null and void moving forward.

I remember seeing the blackberry vid, I stood there like :dwillhuh: "this cat is on camera doing this? And no one is trippin?"

That should've the biggest red flag that something was up. But the industry let that shyt slide like it was nothing.

EDIT: btw, I wouldn't be shocked if that wasn't HIS blackberry. That could've been his writer's phone.

That's what let me know authenticity was done in hip-hop.

Gone are the days where if you came through in some fly shyt you'd get your tags checked and if you were frauding you would get called out immediately. The fact that Drake got a pass for that bullshyt and is getting a pass now just confirms it.

"Easter egg hunting, they gotta look for something"

Drakes credibility was proven from years of him writing his own raps. It's no secret that on Take Care he took some of The Weeknd's songs and made them his. Same thing was done with QM on IYRTITL. Ya'll just reaching again. Someone make a thread calling out Kanye and Lil Wayne if getting help or ideas for a song is the same as using a ghostwriter. People fail to remember Drakes introduction to the world was by way of Lil Wayne spitting his verse on Money To Blow at the MTV Awards. nikkaz thought it was Wayne's raps. So does that mean that Wayne is not a credible rapper?

I'm sure somebody probably said it by now but Wayne and Kanye been caught plenty of shyt...Wayne got the brunt of it for WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY LESS than multiple reference tracks.

The year 3030
all the legends and ogs won't even stand up to this fraud.. this is disrespectful to hiphop

And this is probably the most disappointing aspect of it for me. All the PC of it is such bullshyt.

I like how in every instance when one has been interviewed, they've more or less said "it's okay..." (they trail off cause you know they don't believe that shyt themselves) but :whoa: I write my own shyt.
