I know they don't want to do it but it's time for Disney to just pay up to get Doom and the 4 back.
Of course. You need a skilled writer to pull it off tho because it's not an easy trick. Noah has shown he's got the goods when it comes to his pen so if anyone can pull it off it's probably him

I'd gotta dig in the archives. Maybe not in comic books but I'm sure there are movies where you're rooting for the bad guy who's also the films lead. shyt maybe The Godfather 2 lol. Michael is a b*stard from start to finish but you're following his journey. We understand where Michael is coming from but that doesn't make him less of a villain. That's the first one that comes to mind but it may not be the best example
Side note: Would've been more excited had he said he was developing a fantastic four movie though. He's got the eye for weird sci fi and a fantastic four movie should be an off the wall sci fi flick

I could see something like him dictating his life story to a Doombot as the framework for it.
If they tell the story from his perspective and make Reed the villain
It could even be like Mr. Robot where he tells you he's not telling the viewer the truth at points. Why? Because he's a supervillain.

Because who wants to give away money? Especially when fans seemingly only flock to established IPs at this point. We're in a franchise era and every studio wants theirs. If you've got one it's your job to make it work.
Is it the most altruistic answer? Of course not. But it's a business and money always wins
