Them Lo Lifes...
Again, answer why Pac needed to get out of jail.
You over emotional pac fan gon run from this,...
I know it,...
That is why you keep quoting my posts in parts.

I know you dudes were not in the culture then either.
As the incarnation you resonate with was not marketed and thug life the album flopped, and nobody was banging still ball'n when originally it was released.
People were bone and dre/snoop fans in 93.
Pac was not even liked by females then.
They were all on dalvin devante and bizzy bone.
nikkaz was not emulating Pac when mobb deep destroyed 95.
Mobb deep and Wu tang owned and solidified the culture and draw of more culturally associated gsngsta rap groups.
being marketed to predominate west coast gangsta rap fans.
In preparation for what would become a full scale marketing of rap and hip hop in full by Leo Burnett.
Pac fans were a small niche group who had three incarnations of rabid fandom.
There are five pac is alive incarnations of marketing runs.
Plus post humous, and the incarnation of Pac.
that is the gateway for Pac clone war stan.
was during the MTV's Pac is method acting to cover up why he is running around NY scared because of what he did.
Before that there was no emphasis on bandanna, Versace designer change of character real glasses, thug life, leather vests etc.
In that is where originally prodigy and mobb deep etched out the popularity of henn and that before hand.

Pac is like the Wu.
Yeah they had Cristal first in the vid.
Yet,.originally jay is the guy who made it popular.
Same thing here, pac was not originally the guy who made henn and plastic cups and bandanna'a popular.
He got popular after mobb deep was making the rounds and making henn popular. Henn had its cosign around the board because of the marketed later pac rhymes of hennesy/enemies.
You pwc clone war stans wanna give everything to pac and that is not how it occurred.
Regardless how you try to use jayz revisionist history to aid your posthumous arguments.
Of which, no Pac clone war Stan will come true about what really happened at all.
Plus, their memories get fuzzy all of a sudden.
when confronted with what was in those transcripts.
Yet, in everything else they front like they have the memory of an elephant.

Im trying to figure out what hennesey and bandanas have to do with Pac going to jail..

Lets keep the thread on track Art..ALL this is relevant how?

Then you bring Jay Z into the convo..like dude..fa reals..

And Im not going to sit here and break down every lil anecdote you put up.

But really it doesnt matter. Mobb Deep brought it to the table..Pac made it popular..

:yeshrug:

Them niccas didnt OPENLY talk about thug life till Pac died..

Pac failed at trying to piggyback off of cube and bone in the thug life era.
As thug life was a failed lench mobb style project with gorilla in the mist imagery that was called out back then..
Plus, he tried to capitalize off of bone's wave on their ep as well..
All because he was not anywhere near as popular as bone or any other priority large drawing gangsta rap group or act back then.
That all wb/interscope artists were marketed to emulate, or follow ice t or ice cube.
Plus copying ice cube imagery/direction/visual became an actual practice. During the oversaturation video run of ice cube's dead homies on video outlets
Before cop killa made wb draw a line in the sand on distributing interscope.
Pac was not even originally popular from music.
He was popular from the pr fiasco when he shot the cops in the ass.
Which is what started his fascination with pr and pr is how he made his boom later on with the mtv/vibe/i put on glasses and called for mama cause I am going to jail run.
Which every over emotional pac clone war fan uses as their first Gen gateway.
Then went to overprocessed levels of bullshyt.
Once, it was pr'd.
Pac was getting out of jail.
Plus, the amount and what the bail Was for.
Including, who posted the bail and why he was on that label pr.

So please stop trying to make it like pac was popular and changing the game on the thug life cd.
When thug life the cd was a lench mobb/ice cube rip off from visual to scope/direction.
That was easily identified and why pac had to go back to the drawing board.

Pac clone war stans be killing me like they really bought the thug life album and were fans of early Pac.
No you weren't you weren't even marketed pac right yet.
so stop the fake revisionist shyt.
nikka don't even know what flex was,...
Till they got it on one of those makaveli Leonard part six releases.
Yet, be trying to front.
nikka,...just stop.

Nobody rocked the thug life album so, just stop it.
You were not a fukk'n fan then at all.
So, stop the jayz style deflection cause jay used pac'a draw to dominance.
After he dissed Pac and in blasphemy used his name to draw erroneously.
I know you mad and hurt,....but, you not fooling nobody.
With your overprocessed emotion like the marketed world.
let you think you were more important than you really were.
Just stop,.....

Pac's bandanna on thug life was not the go to image for Pac.
till his relaunch on matw vibe cry for mama, I am going to jail issue.
All because....you know what, imma let you Pac.clone war fan tell me why he went to jail..
Just to see if you so thorough and gon tell the truth.
Instead of lying and hiding behind a population of Pac clone war stans to try to head and pump fake the argument.

I know white cats who way more rabid fans of Pac than you nikkaz, before you nikkaz, too.

Seems your issue with Pac goes deeper than P swagger jacking Pac :mjlol:

The stylized bandanna that Pac incorporated into his image was not coined by him or prodigy. It was a style that was pretty much birthed in Harlem (or somewhere in New York, anyone can correct me on this). So I couldn't careless on what your opinion on this subject is. But Pac did popularized this in American pop culture, this is un-deniable.

I don't know why you're bringing up the "marketing machine", "east coast vs west coast", and so on. That is a non-sequitur. And to say "none was rocking that thug life album" is a straw man argument. None is talking about the sales for the album (it went gold by the way, so nikkas were rocking the album) im saying that Pac repped thug life, rapped about henny , and wore the bandanna around his head, ALL before Prodigy. You can't properly back up your points because what you are saying is not true.

naw when them mobb deep nikkas were yapping about thug life, pac was in jail "thug life we still living it". And Nas suddenly hops on the thug life train after the release of illmatic. But Pac still repped that shyt in 93' waaaay before Nas and Mobb Deep.

That nikka is talking about irrelevant shyt and trying to pass anecdotes as facts. Plus nikka is yapping about jayz, funk master flex, east vs west, white people, pac going to jail, pac spitting at the camera (the one when he was wearing all red), and so on like it means something. Breh is straight delusional just look at what you quoted :mjlol:

yea if you're talking about cube, spice 1, scarface, chuck d, then you have a point because they literally were his biggest influences. But Mobb Deep? That's a flat out lie.

I'm not seein the comparison whatsoever:what:....one of the last groups I would think of to compare NWA to,not even without Cube, when they gave you full on over the top violence and ignorance:laff:....NWA never lost its comedic side, but Mobb Deep?Maybe I'm bias, well yes I am bias but I always thought the Click was the closest thing to NWA:wow:

:mjlol:at mobb deep bein trend setters....Pac got ran out the bay and into gang bang central,90's LA....We really thinking he needed to get bandanna style ideas from Mobb Deep now:patrice:?

Ima marinate on The Ghetto Boyz thing:patrice:?I think Ghetto Boyz is a little bit on the darker more heavy side of NWA,but on the other hand The Click leans more towards fun light hearted side of NWA.

My white homie in college was the first Pac fan I met who had all the Pac shyt.[meaning at that point 2pacalypse, strictly and thug life]
Nobody black liked Pac like that on that level.
That is why to this day.
It is weird to me the rabid attitude and emotional attachment his fans had.
When, originally all the way till he showed up on MTV method acting cause of his own failure to act.
There were no huge black fans of Pac like that.
Just the overprocessing of his legacy and the whole shyt is a trip and all pr/misleading media.

Good points.

I dont agree with all.

Pac started to get popular after he got beat up for jay walking by Oakland Po Po..

He was out before Bone and well known by then.

Cube influenced many a mc..including Pac..so that kinda moot..

Just like Chuck D and the Bomb Squad influenced Cubes image and sound for AMW.

NOBODY was talking about the term "Thug Life" PRIOR to Pac...is what IM saying..

but

:salute:on the artist development assessment.

pac was huge, and he stayed with a big single out.

but i see what youre saying. his acting & legal issues over-shadowed his albums up until MATW.

The concept was formed in 92' when Pac 1st met Stretch. the album didnt come til 94' :manny:

BONE didnt become BONE Thugs is 93/94 when EAZY gavem the THUG moniker.. :ohhh:

Pac wanted Thug Life to sign with Ruthless...but....Eazy had a group already called....

Guess what?
