I’ve never seen a rappers hometown so split on someone. Some New York cats look at nore as a top tier mc at his time with cnn til the super thug era and also say he was respected in the streets and put in work in his younger days. Other New Yorkers say he was a wack ass hatin ass nikka that prodigy been tryna tell us about. For the record I personally felt Capone went harder than nore on a lot of cnn cuts and features…as far as his street rep? I’m not sure which side I believe but a lot of people say he was thoro despite capones iffy rep as a possible snitch.

NORE was definitely a shooter and real street nikka. He could never rap forreal though just a unique voice/good delivery.

Back then nore was in my top 5 of rappers I enjoyed listening too. He had that "extra" it factor, personality and was able to incorporate it in his rhymes.
