Mega's beef with Nas started for one reason and one reason only, Mega wouldn't hoe himself to Syeve Stoute, and he thought Nas was gonna hold him down. And then Nature going at Mega right after he joined the Firm. Come on now, leave your stanning aside, have some principles.
AZ and Foxy felt Nas was wrong for that shiit too.

Mega was stubborn cause he didnt listen to jewels nikkas in the industry was tryna give him.. like from Chris Lighty for instance. nikka thought that since he was the man where he was from nikkas everywhere was gonna treat him like that. He didnt listen. He didnt understand the industry. Didnt understand he wasnt always gonna get his way with damn near zero collateral. Mega came out his own face and said that back then he was stubborn and just now as he's gettin older is figuring out shyt that dudes was tryna tell him back in the day. Nas wasnt 100 percent wrong and neither was Mega. Mega was the only nikka in the Firm with literally nothing to negotiate with. AZ had a gold album. Foxy was poppin and had an album. Nas had a multiplatinum album and a groundbreaking album under his belt. Mega had nothing. Nas didnt handle the shyt the best way but neither did Mega.
