Why do people try to discredit Prodigy as not from QB? He's been there since he was 12-13; that counts. Mega was from BedSty and moved to QB around same age, but he's never viewed as an outsider.

Because Cormega lived in QB literally. Prodigy was just Havoc's friend that came around. He didn't live in QB from what I understand. Maybe I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that he didn't really have residence in QB other than spending nights there with Havoc, but he didn't like have an apartment and stuff there. I could be wrong.

Yeah, what I've gathered from the disparity between these dudes has very little to do with rap. I'm sure most of that drama has far less to do with cats just being mad Nas blew up as an MC than it does personal issues. Any neighborhood in which there are numerous crews who all know each other, there's bound to be conflict and falling-outs. It just so happens some of those people happen to make music. I'm sure some of it has to do with rap shyt, but it's probably minor if anything.

P was visiting QB at that time.. He primarily is from and lived in Hempstead...I know for a fact..

Not that he's a better rapper (Tragedy is significantly better), but he definitely stood out more, which is why he blew up. He had that charisma or whatever you needed to be a star.

I'm just saying Tragedy has better lyrics and flow. In the sense of just strictly pen to pad skills, Tragedy is better. This can't be debated. And he flows better than Noreaga too. Noreaga has way more charisma and he's way more entertaining overall.

He claimed it cause his grandmother lived over there and he used to visit her...also cause of Havoc.. He shoulda repped Hempstead way harder than he has over the course of his career tho..it ain't like Hempstead soft..but yea..
