I think the problem is she stuck between two worlds. She wants to be an artist that transcends genres but that means silly compartmentalized music industries, fans, stations don’t know where to put her music. I also noticed that song wasn’t really gettin play on blk stations either. And it was definitely a whole vibe.

I think she’s had quite a few bops. Love lies, Checklist, Dancing With a Stranger were solid to me.

I even liked “Slow Down” b/c it was so different from a lot of what’s out there right now.


She had a nice little flow.
Motivation had to grow on me b/c it sounds Ariana Grandish to me. But the video definitely set the tone off.

I also actually loved “Waves”. She’s had some impressive runs.

I think management and promotion is more of a problem than her actual music. Waves was pure blk excellence.

I was just joking around when I said some of these 6 cert, 6 figure Coli kings might be richer than ur Music Crush Mondays, but that shyt could be hella true.

it makes me wonder if all those artists flossing with chains and cars, $1000 weaves and cribs are really just wracking up credit card debt. That’s some scary shyt to imagine.
