I'm not the biggest fan of the US but I think some people in here sleeping on it. China..Russia all these countries are regional powers. US is the only global superpower. Able to project power ANYWHERE. Has the world's oceans in a stranglehold. And the military hardware
Israel has an air defence system that shoots down 90% of all rockets fired from the Gaza Strip next door. I refuse to believe the US cannot intercept a missile shot all the way from Asia. The US got some shyt in the cut other countries don't even know exists.
But Trump said he will handle this
The USA has been investing BILLIONS into missile defense tech. And they been experimenting for the longest. People also forgets cyberweapons which the military has been investing in which would stop a missile launch before it even begins.

Brehs who've served in the military and have been posted in the Pacific..mainly Japan and S. Korea understand how serious this shyt is. Them folks in S. Korea, them older generation folks, over there have VERY vivid memories of how horrific the Korean War was..they DO NOT want any provocation that would force them into fighting with N. Korea again.

the thing is that an ICBM will go so far into the atmosphere and go so damn fast that it most likely wont be able to be intercepted. So if they shot that missile and they cant take it down while it's shooting straight from the korean peninsula that US city theyre aiming for is fukked

Uh... YES they would. You guys exaggerate North Korea's capability to fictitious levels. Yeah, NKs advancing missile/nuclear program these past years have been impressive but thats it. Without China and just one on one with the two Korea's, the South would dominate even with large causalities. South Korea's military tech far advanced/modern than anything the North has shown.,

Russia has markedly superior air combat systems and their Sukhoi fighter jets can go toe to toe with anything Lockheed and Boeing can engineer.
