won't happen. dc law has building height restrictions...they don't want anything taller than the monument or the Capitol.
commercial buildings capped at 130 feet, residential at 90 ft.

yes it is...while I lived there, Fairfax was the most expensive county in America.....loudon was in the top 10-15...anyway, while the cost of living is expensive, the jobs pay enough to sustain it...and there is a lot of shyt to do, no matter what you like to do....

1st Northern VA is a great place to re-locate and raise a family. You have Washington DC right there so Northern VA acts as a suburb to the Nations Capitol. Tons of Senators and government officials live in Northern VA. You have the Pentagon as well as the CIA headquarters. You have Quantico Marine Corps Base. You have MD also right there (DMV). The reason it's becoming more and more expensive is cause it has expanded in the last 15 years.
It's crazy about the rent cause here in NY I thought it was high but the DMV is starting to rival NY, LA, San Fran types of rent. It's crazy. Then I noticed. The Population has also increase. But you know what. The Job Market is better in Northern VA than the national average. There's ton's of government and medical jobs down there. Also though rent may be creeping up, you get WAY MORE space than you would here in NYC. Obama won Virginia both times of the strength of Northern VA. In closing I will say it's a great place to live but yes it's getting expensive.

LOL.. samething I was thinking. never been to trinidad in DC, but i always here about it on the radio. Its a known fact but the DMV is a shinning example of " You pay for what you get". The lower the rent the more crime.
