driving is a privilege not a right
in 2013, 10,076 people were killed in alcohol-impaired driving crashes, accounting for nearly one-third (31%) of all traffic-related deaths in the United States. 1.
Of the 1,149 traffic deaths among children ages 0 to 14 years in 2013, 200 (17%) involved an alcohol-impaired driver.
I`m with you on how severe it should be treated, just not gonna go that far. Like I said to @mrken12 , there are a lot of ways people can get a DWI that would make me believe banned for life from driving is a bit too much,
Also, you got people who were crackheads, drove drunk once, clean up their life and become ordained ministers and shyt, should those people be banned for life with absolutely no reconsideration?

that's bizarre
