No matter what, the Earth will survive and and life will prevail for about another 1.3 billion years. By then, the Sun would have ramped up the luminosity so high, that water starts to evaporate into the atmosphere, and Earth starts the proces of becoming a true Twin of Venus. Hopefully, mankind or the Bonobos will be advanced enough to leave the cradle of Earth by then.
