Imagine that: being an older person with multiple healthy retirement accounts, a beautiful house, frequent flyer miles to gorgeous destinations around the world, in better shape and health than those around you because you didn't have to grey yourself out running after children and had the time and space to stay in shape, close friendships with other people who chose well, beautiful relationships with other unchained people, endless hobbies you can indulge in, being sad because your flabby and sick friends have baby vomit on their polyester polos and have to take off of work to go to graduations of kids who couldn't even make the National Honors Society. Lol.
Have kids, brehs.
whoa, this really is the dream.

you literally just described the most routine shyt that people with kids do all the time

This isnt even a fair debate because none of you are going to go your entire lives without having kids. And if uou do then i feel sorry for you
People with kids wake up not worrying about their kids?
I'd suggest you find a new social group if thats the norm where you're from, that's not good.
And I'd love to go my entire life without kids. I'm in a relationship with a woman who also doesn't want kids. I'm envisioning retirement in my forties, world travel, beautiful people, delicious foods, healthy bank accounts, luxury cars, philanthropy and charity work all over the world, vacations homes, great health, and a very fulfilling life.
You just worry about that 80k in student loans you're going to to have to take out for whatever kid you have, and stop bringing down people who want to make good decisions for themselves.
Willingly being a crab in a barrel is not a good trait.

:mjlol:Y'all always kill me with this too. Two hundred years from now, no one will remember you even existed, b. If you want to continue your legacy, go out and do something meaningful. Einstein, Shakespeare, and so forth, those names have and will exist for centuries.

Legacy =/= fame. When I say legacy, I mean when I am about to die, and look back at my life, I want to leave behind good, responsible human beings that I helped create. Traveling is so overrated and gets boring IMO. The challenge of raising my own kids into responsible adults would easily trump traveling around the world and give me greater fulfillment. I realize that for someone else, they would disagree, which is perfectly fine. It's all a matter of personal choice.

That's a totally selfish, ego driven reason to have children.

how many different countries do you visit per year? how many properties do you own?
None, but if i wanted to, kids wouldnt stop me. At all. Did your parents sit around all day watching over you until you were grown, doing nothing else in the meantime, or did they find the time to do the things they wanted.

Thats what i thought. Its not prison:ehh:

Do you really think that nobody manages to experience life with kids when 99% of people on the planet end up having at least 1?. I would hope you wouldnt consider yourself that weak, cuz that sounds silly:russ: but hey if you wanna throw yourself in that lane then thats ok with me:ehh:

I was just trying to let yall know from the perspective of someome in your age group with multiple kids. But if you dont want to listen then thats no sweat off my nose:ehh:
