Legacy =/= fame. When I say legacy, I mean when I am about to die, and look back at my life, I want to leave behind good, responsible human beings that I helped create. Traveling is so overrated and gets boring IMO. The challenge of raising my own kids into responsible adults would easily trump traveling around the world and give me greater fulfillment. I realize that for someone else, they would disagree, which is perfectly fine. It's all a matter of personal choice.

Imagine that: being an older person with multiple healthy retirement accounts, a beautiful house, frequent flyer miles to gorgeous destinations around the world, in better shape and health than those around you because you didn't have to grey yourself out running after children and had the time and space to stay in shape, close friendships with other people who chose well, beautiful relationships with other unchained people, endless hobbies you can indulge in, being sad because your flabby and sick friends have baby vomit on their polyester polos and have to take off of work to go to graduations of kids who couldn't even make the National Honors Society. If that were the case, explain all of the people who had kids unexpectedly and later on regretted it, let alone all of the women who choose abortions, or even all of the people who choose not to have kids period. It's conditioning, a lot of people were pressured by their parents and grandparents to carry on the family name, and it's all for the sake of their own ego. It's selfish, they're imposing their issues onto their offspring because their parents did the same shyt, and it carries on and on. People worried about "Carrying on the family name", when it all means jack shyt in the grand scheme of things. Everyone thinks their legacy is gonna mean so much when in fact most of the world doesn't even know they exist. The so called "biological drive" to have kids all comes down to wet pussies and hard dikks . Everything else is external societal factors. Nothing more, nothing less.
