Like folks have already said the Suns and Kings messed up more than the Hawks.
The Suns employed his old HC in Europe and not drafting Luka already cost one person his job.
The Kings would've gotten the shot in the arm the franchise needed.

it was this part for me how do you sign this random Ass head coach and don’t draft the player. Now I understand why they drafted ayton but I don’t understand why they hired that coach and subsequently passed on luka. Kings further messed up passing on luka... I’m just not going to knock the Hawks seems like one of the trades both teams benefited from.

If you wanted to force Dolan out and have him get attacked relentlessly by media nationwide when there are sketchy owners never even seen then yes you gotta be a dee dee dee. The Utah Jazz sold off a majority interest for 1.66 Billion last year.
When teams get sold it bumps up all networths of all the teams and owners it’s one of the reasons why the owner of the Hornets is richer than the owner of the Bulls despite the owner of the Bulls being 26 years older and owning the Bulls since 85 when the owner of the Hornets played for him. So yes there I think there is a plan to get Dolan out. A lot goes into the Knicks especially where they play because MSG is very expensive and it’s a lot of bullshyt with it being on top of Penn Station there have been problems since the 60’s and with long standing problems there are always some people who think because they are smart they can just go and solve said problem without any feel of it.
