I disagree. For MOST of us, no one cares about how much money anyone else has, especially a rapper. No one cares about their friends, business connects, spouses, cars they drive etc. At the end, it's all bout the music, and if they are putting out music that's deemed trash and sounds forced, they should get called out on it. It's like I read this thread and wanted to have a comment but really I don't care

I will say that jay has been rich longer then he's been poor. Him reminiscing about the struggle would be the equivalent of me reminiscing about my mom changing my pampers when I was 2 months old.

They say by the time you are 7 years old the base of your psychology is set...I don't know why nikkas expect him to all of a sudden be removed from all of the shyt he's been through just because he's got money, he talks about it because that part of him is sitting at the foundation of his life experience.

It's that cocktail of traumatic experience and the thrill that comes with that lifestyle that makes it such a stain on his thought process, aka "the dualities"...he's a drug addict too, he gets his fix of chemicals by reliving those emotions while still trying to make sense out of getting older and doing new things.
