Well compared to NY it isn't. But the DC metro area has the 5th highest cost of living in the U.S.

Where is the DMV? I always read it but don't actually know what it is.

Well I make sure the budget and all the transactions are following the accounting regulations.
And also go over the contracts (and the financial commitments and obligations that go along with it) ensuring they aren't violating any legal code.
Last but not least...making sure our organization gets paid, and paying the people that we owe.

I know I'm not a 25 year old 6 figure cat like most of y'all in here lol...but not bad for almost 40 year old when I didn't get my bachelors until I was 33.

Of course, I live in the DMV. So 96k here is like 40k anywhere else smh. It's so damn expensive here.

LOL.. I hate that crap. I remember when I was bumped up to $89,600( or something like that ). I'm like come on round it off to $90K. Saying I make $90K sounds a lot better than $89K

Cheaper than NYC and San Francisco but less cosmopolitan with one of the higher cost of living in the country. Maryland is a welfare state and the whole DC/VA area runs amuck with government contracts which why the top 5 richest counties in America are in a 50 mile radius of DC; median salary 120K annually. Basically the Black people live in Southern MD and White folks live in Northern Virginia.
