What’s your purpose of saying good morning? Who does it benefit? You? Trying to make someone say good morning in return is a trace of narcissist behavior. Saying good morning is a choice and replying is a choice. The moment you put yourself out there, the person isn’t responsible for your wishes of a response. It’s a risk.
Also, being courteous toward someone is an action that SHOULD be acknowledged, but once again, don’t expect anything in return if you’re doing it from the heart. This too is a risk. Don’t blame anyone but yourself.
