3D has what channels???? there used to be a few carried on comcast, but those have been abandoned. hell, even ESPN tossed their 3D channel in the :bushess: years ago.

time Warner has a few 3D channels I must admit I never use it and I feel kind of burned for purchasing a 3D TV but they didn't have any non-3DTV models the quality I liked.

I just can't get into the sitting on the couch with some glasses on.

I stream 4k YouTube videos to my smart TV built in YouTube app. Looks Clean and I'm only getting 30mb down. 4k is the future. I can't wait till 4k consoles come out

So I was looking to buy a tv and looking at 4k TV's (I have no tv at all cause some prick broke into my house and stole it ), should I wait on copping a 4k?

yeah alot of them got bushes treatment, butttt at least they had them when these companies were introducing 3d

youtube and netflix can already stream 4K content.

however there is still a lack of 4K content overall, so there's no way for me to justify that kinda TV purchase currently.

especially in an era where 1080p still isn't the standard when it comes to HD content from most cable providers (which I have mentioned on here countless times).

The problem is not 4K, the problem is YOU. You are looking at 4K and using old and outdated mediums to access your content...I know you did not seriously counter with Blu-Ray and TV Boxsets as to why you can't get 4K content...

as of now, you're better off getting an OLED 1080p tv rather than a 4K tv....

these cable/satellite companies ain't trying to waste their bandwith providing 4K. hell, even the cable boxes I have can't handle that level of resolution even if it were available.

like I said, you got youtube, and a few of the newer shows on netflix like house of cards. house of cards looks phenomenal in regular 1080p tho to me

hell, even if PS4 offered 4K output, that alone would make me consider very seriously about buying one.
