now im not the best at math

but how does that add up to $1.2 trillion :jbhmm: someone help me calculate how the above expenses total $1.2 trillion :jbhmm: my calculator shows around $500 billion, maybe im not using the right calculator

also when I worked at AT&T and then Verizon, they covered the costs of broadband construction for their respective companies (as does xfinity/comcast) - so where exactly is that $65 billion going :jbhmm: as does PG&E cover the cost of their infastructure in California (which they are being sued for billions for caused fires in North California).

Are these company bail outs cleverly disguised :jbhmm:

What is classified as drinking water

Airports I thought were covered from local/state taxes ? Same with bridges ? I mean thats what they told us when we paid $2 billion for the new Bay Bridge :jbhmm:

what counts as Safety ?

Just looking for some help here :hubie: because this is why America is so broke.. we have no actual idea where our tax money goes :hubie:

It’s $550 billion in new money

The rest of the package is repurposing unspent money from the CARES Act

Yup, only $550 billion in new spending which they could learn if they read enough news, but they'd rather repost tweets onto the Coli.

What’s in the $550 Billion Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill

House ships $550B infrastructure legislation to Biden’s desk after months of delay

Factbox: What's in the bipartisan U.S. $1 trillion infrastructure bill?
The legislation is one of President Joe Biden's top domestic priorities and includes $550 billion in new spending, while the rest of the $1 trillion is previously approved funding.

The legislation would put $550 billion in new funding into transportation, broadband and utilities.

The Senate infrastructure bill puts America closer to another New Deal
The Senate’s 2,702-page Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act reauthorizes a mix of transportation and water programs and adds $550 billion in new spending over five years

I like threads like these. There likely is an explanation for this. But if you don’t know you have to ask. I bet a lot of posters would be scared to ask this same question cause they scary and don’t want people making fun of them or some shyt. Or don’t wanna come off like they on some political shyt. But you can’t change mothafukkas being scary. Great question. I’ll likely learn something from this thread

I honestly would have to read the full bill to know if something is being hidden and I'm not willing to do that either way politicians always eat of these bills so I'm not shocked.
