I remember I was a kid and saved up enough money and bought the chronic and dj quik new album way 2 funky cassettes from Sam the record man on the same day. I played the quik album way more and thought that was the dopest shyt ever and better than the chronic or anything else out.

not abou it being the height of lyricism but given the fact of the times this was made, this was atleast decent wordplay for rappers in the late 80s early 90s. when you look at it in that view.
