No one is rationalizing anything. Dude makes good music. That’s a good enough reason. Boxing Gunna into a gangster rapper category is the problem.

No one has responded to my examples of Yachty and Tecca talking that gangster shyt either. No one would consider them gangster rappers, yet their content is heavy on violence and gang shyt.

Well let me respond right now.

If you're talking about dropping bodies and putting "bags" on people and referencing gang shyt and openly referring to yourself as a gang member (Gunna is a Crip)....then yes, you're a gangster rapper.

I don't give a fukk if it's Tecca, or De La Soul. You cats are making thus 100x more complicated than it needs to be.
