I have never thought of actual humans with dwarfism when I see mythical dwarves on film and TV.

But it would immediately come flooding to you consciousness when you meet one in real life. He got a point. I aint even gonna front, first time a met a victim of dwarfism i thought of game of thrones, Keebler cookies, and the smurfs.



Id compare this to foreigners in some place without black people (uzbekistan, china, latvia, argentina, etc) watching 90s rap videos, or masaii tribe nature docs or Court tv true crime specials and then encountering you on vacation, treating you with all those negative stereotypes.
